He did the job, but charged us $504 to replace a mixing valve. Part was under $100. He was here less than 2 hours.

On July 9th, 2025 I went to Angi's to get a quote for a dripping faucet and leaky shut off valve. I was contacted by the receptionist at Capital Heating and Cooling to set up a time for their service people to come out. I asked for a quote for possible work and was told that didn't quote until they saw the job which is contradictory from what you are led to believe by Angi. I left a detailed account of what was wrong with Angi. Mike and Jay come out later that day. They looked at the faucet and said it would be better to put in a new one along with new cut off valves. I was stunned by the quote of $782.25. There was no indication what that covered. I had to rush to Home Depot to get a new faucet as well. They were at the house less than 2 hours, didn't give me my old faucet or the boxing for the new one which would have warranty paperwork. I was very pleased with the two men that cleaned out my dryer vent from the back of the dryer all the way through the outside. They even cleaned out the dryer itself and all the lint that was around the outside of the dryer.
