Hired vendor, they gave me 2 options. 1 was to try and fix unit but they couldn't guarantee it would hold up. 2 was to replace unit which made my toes curl. Total replacement for a 3.5 ton unit was... $5725! While we just had returned from Vegas with less $$$ than we went worth, we decided to replace it. They did a great job. Had to call them back out to tweak it, they were there the same day and took care of all the minor problems. Very happy with the unit, customer service, and professionalism. Would recommend this vendor to family and friends.

Excellent customer service. Great communication between the staff and with us as the customers (they thought they might run late so they called an hour in advance of my appointment to let me know-- but they still were on time!!). Excellent price as well --- other companies wanted me to pay triple what AC docs charged! Will use them as my bi-annual maintenance and overall repair service for or HVAC.
