"Our job was primarily exterior painting, including two large porches and a balcony, and some exterior carpentry. JR and the paint crew were very pleasant to work with. Initial estimating was very accurate and prompt. They did make some suggestions based on what they found, as the job progressed, those proposed changes and the reasons for them were communicated very well. As a result the our house looks so much better ( e.g. painting exterior doors and replacing balcony rails). The actual paint crew was very detail oriented and often worked late into the early evening to ensure timely completion of the overall project. In addition they were safety oriented always securing their equipment and ladders for the night. I was very pleased with the final result, including end of the job walkthrough with JR, to make sure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. "Peter is the consummate plumber. He's incredibly reliable & responsive; a highly knowledgeable and skilled expert in the field; is neat, organized and detail-oriented, and just a genuinely all-around nice and honest guy. Hired him twice over the past few years, first to replace a leaking water heater. I paid for the heater myself and paid Peter to install it. He said it would be 4 hours and it took him longe cause he had to make some unexpected modifications due to size difference in the old/new heaters, but did not change the previously quoted price. The install went fine though and the heater worked great. We lost power a few weeks later, and I wasn't sure how to rekick the pilot light and was a bit nervous since it was gas. So I called Peter for help. He answered right away, and he calmly and patiently walked me through the process over the phone to get the pilot back on. The second time was to replace our 40-year old natural gas fired steam boiler. I bid 3 companies and Peter's quote came in as the most competitive plus he wasn't trying to sell me stuff I didn't need (like smart thermostats and extended labor warranties). It was a big project that he expected to take 2-3 days, but since we waited till late fall to do the project (mid-December!), it was pretty chilly when he did the project so he worked constantly all day to get the job done so we would have heat that night. He stayed through the sub-contracted electrician doing the wiring hook-up, to make sure the boiler would work properly. All in all he was probably on-site for 12-14 hours... very impressive work ethic and we were so grateful to have heat back on the same day! Also I forgot I had Peter come over on another occasion to look at a leaking steam radiator and some pretty old worn-looking pipe connections. We were afraid we'd have to replace the whole pipe and it would cost hundreds, but Peter took a look and said it probably just needed to be tightened.... went to his truck and with a wrench he tightened it up and it stopped leaking. Plus no charge for it! Not many plumbers who would make a home visit and do a fix and not bill you anything for it. He's a really high-end professional with deep experience and expertise and I'm sure you will be extremely pleased with his work. I would recommend Peter without hesitation for ANY plumbing project no matter how complex, and will hire him again when needed."

"On a Saturday while trying to fix a leak in my toilet, i stupidly cracked the tank. The toilet was old enough that I would need to fully replace the toilet. I reached out to Marcin not expecting to hear from him until Monday. Marcin emailed me back on a Sunday asking for questions and photos so he could scope the job. Because we were without a main toilet, Marcin moved his schedule around to come to our house on Monday! He walked me through which toilet specs i should buy, and I ran out and got a toilet, and him and his assistant came over, and had the remaining parts on hand to finish the job quickly! Marcin and his assistant were also very courteous and were wearing masks the entire time they were in my house. "This job was extremely challenging and even frightening, as my 40 gal HW heater which failed, sits in a closet 9' above the floor. The prior HW tank had been installed improperly, plumbed incorrectly (the shut off also shut off water to my toilet tank!) making it nearly impossible to remedy in the tight closet. Micheel Paone called me within 30 minutes of my request on HomeAdvisor, and from that moment on, he was professional, prompt, direct about costs and timing and kept me in the loop several times on the status and arrival. But all that paled after having him in my home for 7,5 hrs yesterday. They left after 9pm. They had to go get more copper pipe, as he totally re-piped the closet, giving me a new shut off just for the HW heater, and much closer to the door for ease of use. The closet jam and trim had to be removed, as did the make-shift pan and vinyl liner. Most importantly, he inserted the tank 10' above the floor with all of the labels and access panels for service and maintenance directly in the front, not at the back where they were simply unreachable as had been the prior tank. His estimate was a 3-4 hr job, but once he saw the challenges of the space and the need to replumb all the lines, it became a 7+ hr job. I would recommend Michael and his team without any reservations. He is the best I've ever seen. He is a pro and is determined to solve the problem at the highest standard even if it costs him to do so. His concern for his customer and their satisfaction is uppermost in his mind. He lives the golden rule.....Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I am so grateful. And he or his son will install my next HW heater in 6-8 years, of that you can be sure!"
