I was much encouraged by our telephone conversation, and I was even more impressed when Rene and his partner, Marvin, arrived. They were very pleasant and courteous (even to my cats and dogs), quite knowledgeable and extremely professional. They explained everything as they went along, worked diligently, and left my home even cleaner than when they arrived. I couldn't be more pleased and would definitely hire M&R again! "We had trouble lighting our natural gas boiler about a month after we suffered flash flooding due to hurricane Ida's heavy rain. The unit's electricity turns on, but the gas was not lighting despite clearly hearing the sparks. I called Mario who was kind from the start, and scheduled an appointment to check the boiler. Mario worked backwards through his checks: the gas valve, each of the wires, the pilot igniter and pilot gas hose. He showed us the gas valve had corrosion and water in it and had to be replaced. He then vacuumed the gas pipes to remove excess water, and installed a new valve; however, after a test, the gas would not turn on. He checked the wires and voltage was proper. He checked the igniter pilot, and discovered the flame was not lighting - gas was not reaching the pilot; the pilot gas hose had to be unclogged. Once he did that, the unit started working again! Mario was very detailed and patient in his approach. He has been pretty honest and kind, and it shows through his work. He made sure to test the boiler works properly with different thermostat settings, and also checked the heat radiators were working and heating the rooms. He made sure we did not spend more than necessary by explaining exactly what need to be replaced and what could be repaired or cleaned to make things work. All in all a great experience. Definitely recommended!"

They exceeded my expectation to replace my boiler and hot water heater along with associated piping in record time working in concert with the GC to complete all work in 3 days. The finished work was neat and clean correcting errors with my original installation. All debris was removed each day. He ensured I was satisfied, kept me informed of the progress and what to expect. Upon leaving he made recommendations to have all my air valves replaced in my radiators and encouraged me to call with any questions. I appreciate the care he and his crew took with my home."
