"I chose this company based upon the HomeAdvisor reviews and now I know what they were talking about. Mick (the owner) worked with me to find a mutual date to perform a stoop replacement. He followed up on every call and made it convenient for me. He has a nice personality and was courteous, polite, and explained everything in detail. On the day of the job he arrived on time and ready to go with his assistant. He made suggestions and recommendations that told me he was a true professional and knew what he was doing. The stoop replacement was finished in 1 day at a very fair price. If you have any type of cement or brick work that needs to be done give him a call. He will restore your faith in honest, hardworking, professional and skilled craftsmen. I recommend him highly."

"Eddie was great to work with! We had a limited time frame to adhere to town inspections and Eddie and his team knew exactly what we needed and quickly got the job done. The results were great and even the inspector acknowledged the impressive repair. They were able to put a knocked out garage wall back on the foundation and repair the interior dry wall. "Prior to picking Quality 1st Maintenance, I had picked four company's that were HIGHLY recommended in Angie's listing. One company, I felt did a great job in assessing the project, and in explaining what needed to be done. Thought they were a bit on the high side. Two more came in, one total me that there was no need to put in a stainless steel flue, and that it was a waste a money. Thankfully, I had done my due diligence and understood that what he was telling me was not only dangerous but wrong. The other company, though very close to the first one, had not wanted to get up to the roof, I told him that I understood the house very difficult to get there. Now comes Oscar, he came, looked at the outside, gave his perception of what he had to do. Took out the ladder and came back down, and told me exactly what I had thought. The flashing that was done from Power Remodeling, needed to be removed. Oscar said that there was no way that he would be able to do a good job if the flashing was not removed, the chimney needed to be at the house line. Right there the decision was made. Not only did he quote me a fair price, he actually made sense he what he said on the work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend him. UPDATE: After having the chimney done, a bit more than a year later I called Oscar for a reason, to have the chimney protected as he had suggested. Oscar accommodated his schedule to come over and look at it, get it done. My family was very happy with the work. Professional, respectful, was willing to answer concerns that the family had and spent time explaining the process of protecting the bricks. Again, would highly recommend him."

"JP Restoration did an awesome job of demolishing and then building a brick balcony for me and my neighbor. Our balconies went from being the absolute worst on our block to the very best. "I would highly recommend All of the Above! We selected All of the Above from the five quotes we received. The project involved replacing the front porch, walkway, back stoop and driveway. Steve listened to us, answered our questions and gave us a few options. Steve is excellent in providing detailed, information in a way that is easy to understand. The price was clear and very competitive. The project was completed in an organized, timely manner. Steve even went with us to help select the pavers, stones and veneer. "Khuram and his team did great work. I used them for both repointing brickwork and fixing widening gap caused by weather and expansion between my walkway and house that ran the length of the house. Khuram was communicative and offered a very competitive rate. His team was courteous and did efficient work. I was told the work would take one day and it did. and they cleaned up the site well. I'd be happy to work with Metro again on other projects."

"My roof was leaking from multiple places. And the parapet wall was deteriorating. Mr Sam the contractor came and completed the job without any hassles. He is very professional at what he does and completed the work in timely manner. I explained him the problem and within matter of days he has completed the entire project. Would love to use this contractor again for future projects."

"Took 3 visits but was well worth the time, attention and patience to get the job done right. First day was inspection and quote for repairs/materials. Work started that day to patch the cement crown that was cracked and channeling water down one side of the chimney eroding bricks. A bowed metal plate on the chimney to shed water between the two flue caps was flattened and sealed with cement so it did not show from the ground and so flies would stop entering into the house thru one of the flues. Crumbling mortar was replaced between bricks and bricks were waterproofed. The chimney was measured and the cap to cover the entire chimney was ordered. The 2nd visit got rained out. The 3rd visit was a good weather day and the cap was assembled, installed and cemented in place. It is amazing how strong the animal guard around the 4 sides of the chimney is. The crew at all times was friendly, courteous & very competent being careful to do the entire project as if it was their home."

"It is with deep satisfaction that I recommend Gradys Painting and Plastering & Construction. Mr. George Grady is a skilled craftsman. He was hired to correct long neglected and extensive masonry and window issues on a large, beautiful Presbyterian Church built in the Civil War era in Philadelphia. The property was neglected with only minimal maintenance performed over the last 40+ years. The building was in severe decline and in need of stabilization and restoration on many fronts. Cracked ledge plates were chipped out and reestablished, internal walls damaged by leakage were broken out and repaired, brickwork was repointed and in severe cases reestablished to original strength and beauty. Leaks around the base of the building were addressed to stabilize deterioration of the foundation. Large rotted window sills under beautiful stained glass windows were restored after significant masonry reestablishment due to water damage under the rotted out sills. Broken and missing stained glass windows are in the process of repair and replacement. The process started with new metal frames cast by Mr. Grady. The new frames will hold clear painted replications of the original stained glass, also crafted by Mr. Grady. Regular windows all around the church and manse were also repaired and restored. Roof leaks were accurately identified and repaired. A sagging plaster ceiling has been torn out and restored. All this work was done by Mr. Grady alone or with an occasional helper. He worked with care, expertise and respect for the original structure. The results far exceeded our expectations and have injected new life into a building on the brink. This building, owned by the Presbytery of Philadelphia, now houses a new urban ministry in a newly gentrifying area of the city. We are happy to have had the good fortune to be connected to Gradys Painting and Plastering & Construction by Service Magic."
