It could have been very bad, but a pvc pipe carrying water was touching the burning venting material and two small holes were created. The water burst out and put the fire out. Well, how did this happen? Our electrician Jeff worked relentlessly for hours - spanning two days! The second day the owner of HI-LITE, Joe Albert, came along also. I was so impressed by their knowledge and fervent curiosity as to how this fire started. Jeff was 100% determined to make my home safe, and he did! He visited my home 3 days later, inspected things, and told me what the approximate cost would be. He and his helper then installed an entire lightning protection system on both my house and a back garage/storage area. He did things exactly as I wanted in every way. Also threw in a free weathervane which increased the beauty of my home. I would have no objection to recommending this gentleman and his company to anyone who is in need of a competently installed lightning protection system for their home/property. "A push-button circuit breaker (1972 era) controlling our overhead garage door opener failed early Saturday morning, and I spent the morning trying to find a replacement. At noon, I gave up, and obtained Home Advisor's recommended contractors. At 2:30, Arthur Tendera of Storm Electric appeared, and offered to give me a quote. He looked at the breaker, went out to his truck and FOUND a replacement, gave me an extremely favorable quote if he could do the job while he was there. I immediately accepted, and the replacement was installed and tested, all in about 1 hour after he showed up to give me a "free estimate"! I asked him for 6 business cards that I can give to neighbors and friends. He was extremely courteous, experienced, efficient, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended !
