"Let me tell you why I would 1,000,000% recommend them! In March I had an electrical fire in my basement. It could have been very bad, but a pvc pipe carrying water was touching the burning venting material and two small holes were created. The water burst out and put the fire out. Well, how did this happen? Our electrician Jeff worked relentlessly for hours - spanning two days! The second day the owner of HI-LITE, Joe Albert, came along also. I was so impressed by their knowledge and fervent curiosity as to how this fire started. Jeff was 100% determined to make my home safe, and he did! "We've been using this company for at least last 5-6 years to do the annual service checkup of our Generac Generator. Thankfully, due to their service, we've not needed any repairs. Joe also advised me & corrected an error in the original installation of the generator by hoisting it and putting a level base under it so I'll get better & longer service out if it. They're also great with contacting me each year to set up service & are very accommodating to my work schedule. Great, reliable company. Will continue to use them."

"Fidel and Gold Star Electric are the best! I called a handful of the highest rated bonded and insured electricians in Berwyn and Fidel was the only one to call back. He gave me a quote within hours! It took a few days for the others to call. I needed to run a 1" IMC Rigid Conduit to the garage for a 50 amp/220 volt car charger. I also had him upgrade the indoor/outdoor outlets to 20 amps/110 volts, install new lights and ground/bond everything to code. He took care of the permit and inspection as well. Fidel is a great person and I highly recommend Gold Star Electric!"

At noon, I gave up, and obtained Home Advisor's recommended contractors. At 2:30, Arthur Tendera of Storm Electric appeared, and offered to give me a quote. He looked at the breaker, went out to his truck and FOUND a replacement, gave me an extremely favorable quote if he could do the job while he was there. I immediately accepted, and the replacement was installed and tested, all in about 1 hour after he showed up to give me a "free estimate"! Not only did they do a superb job of installing a ceiling fan to an 18ft ceiling, multiple patch repairs, seamlessly replacing and installing bathroom extractor fans that into non standard sized spaces, filling countless nail holes and repainting, and reattaching a dislodged dishwasher, Abraham did all of this amidst the chaos of a move and made MULTIPLE trips to Home Depot to color match paints when I provided the wrong cans. He visited my home 3 days later, inspected things, and told me what the approximate cost would be. He and his helper then installed an entire lightning protection system on both my house and a back garage/storage area. He did things exactly as I wanted in every way. Also threw in a free weathervane which increased the beauty of my home. I would have no objection to recommending this gentleman and his company to anyone who is in need of a competently installed lightning protection system for their home/property. He sent all his credentials and licenses and insurance coverages of his business and they came over the next morning and completed the installation extremely fast. He gave a fantastic offer, and lifetime warranty coverage and will even come over and take down system when we replace the roof and place back up at no charge! His wife even saw some plants we had not put in the garden still sitting in containers, and offered and planted them in the spaces we wanted, just to help out.
