They came to the house I asked for an estimate. I took Them down to look at the site. Mr. Gorman stated he wanted $3400.00 for the two pole buildings and he would look at the farm house and later tell me about the other house. His worker finished the two pole buildings and i did not see him check the farm house. The worker replaced the lightning system on the other house. Mr. Gorman gave me a barely ledgible bill for an amout considerbly higher and I felt intimidated since the work was already done . Mr. Gorman promised to send by email a reciept with the details. He did not send this email. I called and asked for the email he states he has arthritis and cannot write well and would send the email . I still have not received the email. I felt overwhelmed and am not pleased about the cost and would not reccommend this person . I deal with providers for other work and they treat me with respect and fairness. I do not mind paying a fair price for what I need this was not a fair price.

They were very thorough and timely. We made the initial call late yesterday afternoon and had everything totally replaced before noon today! We are very pleased and highly recommend Mid-America Lightning Protection.

Jim and his workers were very professional and knew what they were doing! They showed up when they said they were going to when I had another company didn't even show up I highly recommend them!

Jim arrived at my Moms house unsolicited. My mom is 90 years old and living alone. He charged her $6,200 for sealing a couple of wood trim pieces and caulking a couple of windows. He told her he replaced the cable on the roof connecting old lightning rods, but when I arrived to see what he had done for $6,200, the cable was not replaced. He only did about $500 worth of work, if that. He is a scammer and a liar. Not to be trusted for sure.
