"The electrician was very fast to respond to my request, he came on the same day and installed the outlet. Unfortunately, I did not have the cord with me, so we did not realize it at the time, but the outlet was upside down. He did end up coming back to change the orientation of the outlet, which I appreciated. The outlet works well and our car is happily charging in the garage."

There were two additional parts to the job I needed done as well, and one of them was a bit more expensive than I was expecting... but honestly, I had no idea how much to expect for the third part of the job so I can't blame them at all. There was no pressure at all to complete the more expensive portion of the job when I told them I'd have to pass on it at the time. The actual job was scheduled for the following week, and Tommy and Kevin showed up on time and were done in less than 3 hours. They gave me a few recommendations for drywall repair as well since there were three small holes that needed cut to run the new circuit for the EV charger. Highly recommended... "I mean... read the other reviews! He consistently does top notch work. I got 3 quotes for a 220 volt charger for my incoming Tesla Model 3. James called and came to my house same day to give a quote. He plotted a couple of different routes from the breaker box to the garage, taking care to respect the aesthetics of the interior/exterior of the house (ie not running the wires in a haphazard fashion that may look ugly). Others either had me describe how the wiring should run, or said they would drill and run straight from point A to B, damaging crown molding or whatever else was in its path. On installation day, he and his partner took a little time to again plot the course, discovering that they could run an even more efficient and cleaner route to the garage. I really appreciated the professionalism exhibited from initial point of contact through scheduling permitting with the county for me. A+ service!"

"Nothing but positive things to say about J. Gill construction. The craftsmanship of their work is top notch and they are highly efficient in executing the project plan. Beyond the aforementioned positives, for my basement reno, what I appreciated most was the fact that the team was ALWAYS on time. Often, they would be waiting in the driveway by 0630 and they would always start working by 0700. This level of consistency makes life so much easier to plan around home renovations! One additional tidbit of import: I had to part ways with another contractor that was doing sloppy and slow work on a hardwood flooring install and kitchen renovation upstairs. I inquired with J. Gill and they were not only able to take over the work from the other contractor, but they completed the remaining flooring install (cleaning, prep and install of 850sq feet) within 24 hours. For comparison sake, the other contractor took 96 hours to install 150sq feet. Needless to say, not only are they professional, but they are also lifesavers! I have already recommended them to a couple of my colleagues at work and will definitely use them for renovation projects I have in the future! Very happy in Laurel, MD!"
