"Rico did an excellent job in installing two ceiling fans and two pendant lights as well as upgrade lighting in the kitchen and hallway. Four of the rooms did not have ceiling lighting previously. He also repaired outlets for us. We were impressed by the quality of work and the reasonable price. He is also a nice guy. We will be calling him again."

"I hired Curren Electrical Services to install wiring for a new washer and dryer set up and to wire my business signs. The owner (Curren) showed up right on time, and was very courteous. He had the job done in no time and even made suggestions to save me some money! I highly recommend him and I will be using him for future jobs."

"Replaced my 4 ceiling fans , one ceiling fan was defective after it was installed, Colton had to uninstall ceiling fan. The ceiling fan was returned to Home Depot and the next day was installed, the owner Paul did not charge me an additional fee for the service, as others would charge me an additional fee, he worked with his customers, which reflects great customer service. Thank you"

"Yanse (The Fixer Guys), I initially called and later texted the situation at 1pm... Main line clog. He arrived same day at 3:30pm and was driving away at 4:30pm (1 hour). Total charge was $175 and I added a $25 tip. Knowledgeable with years of experience at some bigger plumbing services. Nice guy, explained things as he worked. I will recommend him from now on for plumbing services."

"Eric was our electrician and he was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. He installed an electrical outlet for the outdoor ceiling fan on our pergola (and installed the ceiling fan), an outdoor motion sensor flood light and replaced our master closet light fixtures. We've got at least one more light installation project that we're going to do, so will definitely be calling Mr. Sparky again."

"Rudy is a very courteous, personable & knowledgeable professional. He has been taking care of all our plumbing issues for the last two years. We are very happy to have found him. Rudy is always very prompt and most helpful in explaining the different options for any kind of repairs. He always did a great job and came up with the most practical solutions for the issues we had. He has helped us with installation of garbage disposal, repair plumbing issues and replace/flush water heating system so far and has been nothing short of awesome. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and reasonably priced professional for any plumbing related services."

"Mike and his team did an exceptional job. The work itself was an overhaul of an outdated General Pacific Panel and relocation of an out of code closet panel to the outside, mast/riser, etc. This also requires arc faults, GFIs, ground rods, etc. They explained each step, walked me through the ins and outs of where the wiring was going, where the ground rods were getting placed, what types of breakers were needed for code, and came in below budget. Hard to find folks that shoot you straight, take care of all the additional questions you have, and allow you to make small changes to statement of work all under budget (I.e. installed an additional outlet and hardwired a ring doorbell through masonry). Would recommend you check them out, especially if you need an old General Pacific panel replaced or 50s/60s electrical brought up to code."

Very happy with them and will certainly call them again for any repair work that needs to be done. Everyone was polite, friendly and efficient. "I highly recommend Mr. Electric! As an accomplished DIY'er I have very high standards when I actually hire someone to do work for me. Todd and his team were absolutely fantastic! They were very conscientious every step of the way which I appreciated especially when I did the drywall repair! I plan on calling them when my kitchen is finished and work on my bathroom begins. FYI: Among the work they provided was upgrading and relocating our electrical panel, relocating and installing two chandeliers and adding sconces to the brick exterior of our home (which Todd took care to carve out the brick so they sat level. Thanks Todd!)"

"Luis with Innovation Group Electric worked with me to make a great generator installation that powers my 5000 square foot house. We used it continuously for 4 days during the recent snowstorm and power outage. It powered our whole house and worked flawlessly. When the city inspector came by for the inspection, they were very impressed with the workmanship that Luis and his crew had done. I am very particular about the work done on my house and I was extremely satisfied with the job they did."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesFrisco Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 1730 reviews of 1730 pros.
