About us: "Hi there, I'm Sam, an HVAC Tech who's starting out for himself. I intend to create a space for myself in the HVAC world starting here. I'm passionate about what I do, and I love sharing what I do with my customers. I aim to provide the most transparent, honest, and fair work you'll ever have. Let's cut to compensation, I don't charge extra for parts, just the base cost. Here's an example of my charges: $100 to diagnose and for a simple repair. That price changes to: $150 for replacing any parts, or $200 for something as intensive as a blower motor. Most repairs will fall into the $150 category. So, for example, it's $100 for me to come out and diagnose your unit. I find that the inducer is bad, I charge you the base price for the inducer motor from the manufacturer, (let's say it's $200) and my price changes from $100 to $150. Your total would be $350. I do handyman work on the side as well, prices for that vary depending on the job."
