USA Waterproofing & Foundation Services

My experience working with USA Waterproofing and Foundation Services was awful. The salesman recommended work that turned out not to be necessary. I signed a contract and was promised that I would receive a call within a week to set up a time for the work to be done. I did not receive follow-up, even though the check was cashed. I had to call multiple times to try to set up a time. Many calls were not returned. When calls were returned, it was by someone who was not in a position to set up the time. I was finally able to get a time scheduled after two months of trying; however, when the gentleman arrived to do the work, he was unable to complete it due to dampness. They ended up doing less than half of the work in the estimate. They wanted to schedule a time to return to fix the damp crack; however, the work they did has a very sloppy appearance. I canceled the remaining work and ended up paying more than half of what was estimated to have less than half of the contracted work done.

The sales staff did not try to oversell me, he addressed the problem as requested. The staff on the project were professional, knowledgeable, and polite. The project was completed in a timely manner, and all my questions were answered (I had several.)

They were timely once they got started and did very good work.

They scheduled too close to freezing weather halting work leaving my water well pipe exposed to freeze and allowing my yard to remain an eye sore for weeks. The workers listened to unpleasantly loud music and were occasionally heard using inappropriate language. I was promised the installation of two windows but was not informed that they could not install them where I requested until it was too late to install them in the two walls that they completely replaced.

Make sure you ask questions and supervise your job to be sure it is the way you wanted it. The salesman gave a better pitch than he should have.

They did a beautiful job installing the system and would recommend. However, the workers were not very professional. They blasted music both days, left trash all over the basement (water bottles, clothing, spit sunflower seeds) and left water bottles and cigarette butts all over my driveway when I had an outdoor trash can no more than 100 feet. They initially identified my basement block type wrong and had to charge extra for the other system. Overall, glad I did because it looks so much better. When they were finished on the second day, they left without saying anything.. left my door open and didn’t even tell me how to work my sump pump (never have had one before and 1st time homeowner) or instructions or anything.... I had to call the company multiple times to have them send out a certificate of warranty etc. So far, the system has been wonderful although I have never heard the sump pump on. I would recommend this company but the installers need to work on their professionalism.

They were the lowest bidders on my job and they did a great job. They were polite and clean and fast workers. I would recommend USA Waterproofing to anyone. Jeff was the man who came out and gave me an estimate and he was polite and explained everything and his crew worked efficiently and cleaned everything up so you could never tell they were here.

USA Waterproofing was prompt, cleaned up as much as expected &, worked effectively. The system is working well, as proven by the last heavy rain. Yes, I would recommend this company.
