Jake and his team are the best!

I am completely happy with the new roof. I found a list of shortcuts on the web that some roofers use and Stout did not do any of them. We requested four bids and Jake was the first to respond. All bids were close in price and about four weeks out. When we decided on Stout, Jake said they had an unexpected opening and could start the next day. The next day, a shingle supplier showed up at 8:00 sharp. Just as the supplier started packing up, a recycling-dumpster truck arrived. When that truck left, three roofers were on site and ready to go. As they were working, I emailed questions to Jake and he responded the next morning. The second day was cut short by rain, but the roofers sealed everything and there were no leaks. After they finished on the third day, I climbed on the roof and carefully inspected every detail. I found one shingle with a small tear that probably would not cause any problems. But I told Jake and his crew was back the next morning and replaced the shingle. All work appears to be very good quality.

The owner was very nice. He walked us through everything before the project started. The guys who did the actual work on the roof did a great job and kept everything clean and tidy.

Jake was very professional in regards to this very complex project. He gave us a bid for the product we wanted, quoted us a time frame for completion and kept to schedule. He brought in three crews and our roofs were completed in a little over 4 weeks just as expected. The few call backs which we had after completion were done in a timely and professional manner. We found his workers to be very competent and thorough. Our roofs look great and we are extremely pleased with the final product. We would highly recommend Stout Roofing. Thank You!

Weather permitted crew to start on assigned time and crew was expedient and professional. The roof looks great and I think the workmanship was inline with warranty and promise from Jake. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend Stout Roofing’s services.

The roof we received looks great. The service we received left a lot to be desired. The job was to begin on Monday, but workers showed up unannounced the previous Friday to start tearing off the roof. They pulled skylights without warning me and showered debris on furniture below. We’re still picking up nails from the yard around the house! Communication was very poor from the company. We were told Friday that the crew would come back Saturday, but they didn’t return until later on Monday. A few days after the new roof was on, we noticed a light rectangular shadow on the living room ceiling, in the area where the roofers tore off the old roof while it was raining. We asked the company to come out and make sure there weren’t any leaks, and to repaint. The repainting process took about four weeks! Unfortunately I can’t recommend this company.

the crew came as the weather would permit in January and completed the job in less than 2 days with a follow-up visit to install trim over the porch flashing with a further followup to review the work for satisfaction and a carpenter to paint the trim to match the house
