Short version: I hired Mark to make a floor in a basement room flat and level. There were some problems along the way, but Mark did not hesitate to make it right. Long version: A room in my basement intended for use as a workshop had a floor that was severely out of level (about 2" -- too much for me to fix with self-leveler) and not flat. Mark gave me two quotes: one for the "right way" of jack hammering out the floor and pouring a whole new one and one for a whole lot of self-leveler. I chose the "right way" since it wasn't much more expensive than the self-leveler. Snag #1: my floor turned out to be the standard 4" thick instead of the 8" we thought it was (I drilled a hole and we both measured, I don't fault anyone for this). Mark had no problem lowering the contract price accordingly. Snag #2: once the floor was poured and dry, I went at it with a level and it was full of high/low spots and un level areas. The first spot I measured had a 3/8" difference over a 6' span, and there were areas where the bubble on the level wasn't even between the lines. Confronted by this, Mark and/or his lead guy (whose name I forgot, sorry) told me that concrete really isn't their thing, no regular concrete slab is going to be "perfectly" flat and level, and that if I wanted that I should have gone with the self-leveler (I was very clear that the entire purpose of this project was flat and level, the old floor was perfectly functional otherwise). All of that being said, Mark agreed to fix it by having it coated with self-leveler. Fast forward about a month (for the concrete to fully cure) and they're back with leveling specialists (apparently a subcontractor). Fantastic. However, I notice that the product they're bringing in says that it's self-leveling underlayment. I had been clear throughout this entire process that nothing would be going on top of this concrete. The manufacturer of said product says that underlayment is not suitable as a "wear" surface (i.e. nothing over it) and makes a different self-leveling product that is suitable. Mark and the floor guy insist that the underlayment is fine. I don't know what to make of this, but I've been lacking that floor now for so long I opt not to delay it any further. Once the floor is poured and cured I inspect it to find that it's almost perfectly flat, within 1/16" or less over 6' and level. On closer inspection, though, I find an area that's "wrinkly" and has a bit of porosity where the boundary between individual pours is visible (this stuff is poured in strips), as if they didn't pour that particular batch fast enough or didn't get the water to cement ratio quite right. On even further inspection I find spots where these plastic markers they used, and just poured the new cement over, are sticking up slightly through the surface. That's disappointing, but I've run out of energy with this project. It's good enough. Maybe I'll give it an opaque epoxy coating to hide the visible defects (that should solve the

I purchased my house 2017 and the roof had been recently replaced by the previous owner but I was never given the name of the roofer. I noticed a leak in my closet which I suspected was from a vent that wasn't properly sealed around. I decided I needed to just take care of it and pay for it myself. I got a quote within 1 day off contacting MM and Carl came out and fixed the seal around the vent the very next day after that. In addition, they resealed around all the things coming out of the roof as a bonus. Top-notch quality and service. I highly recommend!

Our home was built in 1967. We bought it in 2009. During the home inspection the inspector surmised that the roof was replace recently maybe 3 years. Last fall we noticed that there was a wet spot developing in the kitchen ceiling above the stove and determined that it was because a leak in the roof. We called several places and contractors to see if they could fix the problem. None of the contractors were willing to just correct the leaking issue without replacing the entire roof. Then we called and talked to Mark Meredith. They were willing to actually listen to us and hear what we need. They came out and fixed the roof leak without having to replace the whole roof. We have had one of the wettest summers in years. Thereâs been no evidence of the leak since Mark Meredith fixed our roof. The work they did was âspot onâ. The roof crew was professional, skilled and clean. They explained each step as they worked and took the time to answer all of my questions. The next project was to repair the kitchen ceiling where the water had damaged the interior. Again, the fellas that completed that job were outstanding. They were courteous, professional, conscientious and master tradesmen. We couldnât have asked for a better job. Before they arrived, I took the opportunity to replace the light fixture above our breakfast bar and left two holes in the drywall ceiling. The crew came in and did an amazing job. 5 Star work!

This review is VERY late. Summer of 2017 I turned up my grill to get it ready and it had moved closer to the house. This ended up melting some of the siding. I called over MM and I think his son came over. This guy was a pro. Over the phone we chatted and I got him the codes of the siding. He came over, and then ended up going to 3 or 4 places to find the exact siding that matched what I already had. He also helped (and taught me how) to replace a shutter that fell off. This is a company that is perfect in all regards. The value, the quality and just the friendliness and work ethic. I haven't had any other issues, but if I (or neighbors) do, Mark Meredith is my first call.

Bathroom remodel required plumbing connections, installing toilet and sink, new tile, painting, lighting - the whole works. The two gentlemen working on the project were outstanding detail-oriented, extremely professional, immediately trustworthy. They consistently checked in to make sure I was satisfied with their progress. The care they put into the project is truly top-notch.

Five stars to Mark Meredith LLC for the excellent job of renovating our 25-year-old deck. We had all surfaces replaced (only the footings and joists of the old deck remained) and couldn't be happier with the result. The crew was hard-working, prompt, and cooperative. They also proved to be very good at solving a problem or two that weren't evident before the work started. And we found the cost of this excellent work to be quite reasonable, especially compared to some fancy deck rehabilitation companies with big advertising budgets. If you need extensive deck repair or replacement work done, check with Mark Meredith LLC.
