Reviews
Write a ReviewThe service was very painless and I thought it went very well. The engineer who came out to inspect the work did a very clean job and the experience was fantastic.
They have been very friendly and responsive. They call back whenever I have an issue. They are good people and never cause any hassall.
They assumed things from the start and did not explain things to me effectively. I was a new home owner at the tium and did not realize certain aspects of the project. I thought it was going to my entire home they would repair but it was not. I also felt they were in and out and too busy for the job. I did not feel comfortable with the situation and I was not pleased with the service. I had issues with their service from the start. I would not use them in the future. I do not feel I got my money's worth. I wish they would have communicated with me better.
The customer had a plumbing issue which she filed an insurance claim. We feel like we helped the customer with the insurance claim. Baird worked with the insurance company. We felt like we had a good working relationship with the customer because we did additional work for her after the inital job.
The service was good. They did what they said they would do.
My dad had hired them, but after he passed away I had to deal with them. He spent $12000 on the job. They were difficult to deal with. I would not trust them to do any other work for me. They were not forthcoming. I had to do a lot of research and had to get a lot of information myself on the work that had to be done. They did not disclose anything while doing the job. I will never use them again in the future.
We bought a house built in 1917. It still had the original cedar post pier and beam foundation. There was termite damage and a lot of rot. The house was heavily leaning - needed new posts, beams and leveling. We got many quotes, but only Baird Foundation Repair offered to put concrete posts for a reasonable price. Everyone else offered sub-standard pad and block foundation for the same price. They also noticed that the sub-floor joists in one corner of the house were completely rotten and needed replacement. They gave a very good quote to replace those as well and we took their offer. The work took around 10 days and was carried out well. The house was leveled, new posts and beams put in. The only complaint I would have is that the company is not top notch when it comes to customer relations, but they get the work done well and that's what matters for years to come.
The permit was not in my name, they didn't do a good job. I would not recommend them to anyone! I felt like I was cheated.
They were not as neat as they should have been. At first, Baird was not digging deep enough. But then they did it correctly.
It took them about a month. What angered me was that once I signed the contract they ignored me. The broke a water pipe when they were digging. They never said anything to me. It could have been pretty bad because it was my hot water heater pipe. I didn't notice until later that night when I went in to make dinner. It sprayed all over my wall. No one ever apologized for it. They were supposed to give a senior citizen discount, it was stated in their ad. I called the owner, who was a very nice gentleman, I asked him about the discount. He said that was figured in the price when he gave me when he first came out, which was $10,000. I said no mention was ever made of that. I called him once more and he said he knew I was a senior citizen. I am 86, but he still should have mentioned it. My niece told me I should have not signed the contract after she read it, but there was nothing I could do about it now. I had to clean up after their work. I could never talk to anyone about the work.
Baird Construction did a great job. We were completely satisfied with all aspects of the job. To basically be able to tell them what we wanted without any great details and get precise results was wonderful. They took into account our requests and came through with the finished looks that we love. The quality of their work and products was amazing. We are very happy to have found the perfect contractor for us. They paid close attention to even the littlest details and it paid off tremendously. The roof, painting, flooring, and everything turned out great and they did right the first time.
