Our situation was around 1,000 square feet of porcelain tile, newly-installed, which looked smeared and felt gritty. (No problems with grout.) Three washings by our cleaning man helped, but still completely unacceptable. Grout Busters estimator diagnosed problem as "tile haze," apparently caused by lack of immediate and proper removal of excess grout by tile installation crew. The assumption is that the grout was smeared over the tile, as well as some sealer, too. Grout Busters bid the job at a price and said they could solve the problem. Long story short, their first attempt improved the tile, but much haze/sealant was still present. The next day another technician came, worked another 5 hours, and left the tile shining! The company fulfilled their obligation and techs plus telephone contact person all professional and pleasant. Highly recommend!

During the replacement of broken tiles damaged the edge of another tile and tried to cover it up with grout.

I am sorry that you are upset. You called the office when you noticed a damaged tile. Brian had just left and we immediatly called him and he came right back to replace that tile for you at no charge. You then said you had to leave and we needed to arrange another day. We arranged to come back on Monday morning and we did replace that tile for you with no additional charge. Brian said you were very pleasant to him on Monday. If we damage a tile that is adjacent to a tile we are replacing we always replace that tile at no additional charge. That rarely happens but it does on occasion. We take care of our customers.

I am very satisfied with the job, my tile is old and deciding to get the grout color sealed was the right choice, looks awesome! They really do nice work. This was definitely a good choice for us and am glad I hired the "the Grout Busters".

When they came for the estimate, I found the estimator to be very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what they would do and how. They gave me a specific, complete, written estimate. The work was done very professionally and completely - both the cleaning and the color-sealing. My floor looks better than it has in years.
