Write a ReviewAwesome service, support and very professional
Luke came out to redo my bathroom at first the crew ran late but they made up by staying a little late they were very professional and nice. As for the work the shower is very nice. I really didn't realize how talented these gentlemen are until I saw the finished project.
We had a pleasure working with Luke! He was very professional and offered great expertise and suggestions to our project. We plan to use him for upcoming flips we are doing in San Antonio. Thank you Luke and 1st Rate Construction!
1st rate came out the same day I logged on and from the start was impressed. Richard came out and immediately eccessed the project. Later that day he emailed me a proposal. I always get two more quotes on projects so I waited for the others to call. No call or show from the second contractor. And third contractor was a little cocky. It was a go with these guys. Luke the project coordinator conducted himself very professional and was so meticulous when it came down to attention to detail. My countertops was very reasonable and craftsmanship was grade a. Luke and his crew will beautify kitchens
They say remodels are stressful, but working with luke and his crew was pure pleasure. My master bathroom was dull and boring. For so long there was a lot to tear out and rebuild. They rebuilt it better then ever and brought everything up to code. They're meticulous and efficient and take care to make it look good too.Keeping the house clean while they worked, answering all my questions, going over all the options,it's a real full service experience.  Special shout out to luke for his hard work, quality and professionalism. I love my new bathroom.!!! Thanks to first rate construction. :)
Initially I was told the project would take 3 days. From start to finish it took 6 weeks. There is a disconnect between the sales department and the contractors who actually complete the work. Several times during the project, I had to stop the work and request it was redone to my satisfaction. The entire purpose of this project was to resolve a leak in my shower, the leak was still there upon. This was quickly resolved from a short follow up visit. They are not very reliable when it comes to showing up on time to scheduled appointments.
6 out of 5.
4/5.
For the quality of work I would recommend them.
Beware! I hired this company to install hardwood floors for 5 rooms and small hallway, I had to watch them along the way and had to request over and over again for the "wood to align" with the baseboard without any gaps. You would think the name "1st Rate" this should be expected! I had to do the caulking myself that's how I was able to see where the baseboard and flooring had gaps!! Staff was professional for the most part and stated they will guarantee the work for up to a yr. Try getting "Louis" the owner on the phone....He still has not returned my phone call even after a week of leaving a voicemail, and better yet did not come back to my home to see the finished work! More like 4th rate work to me! Again BEWARE the quality of 1st rate is just not there folks!!!!! ****They did come back out and touch up the repairs that I had a dispute about. They made an attempt to make things right.
We cant prevent a house from shifting caulking sometimes cracks the top of the baseboards & corners. Due to the TX heat this will happen. As far as you trying to contact me many times thats simply due to you had my personal cell phone # which has been changed you had my estimators # as well as the co # to try & contact us. Shows no effort was given to contact me. There has to be a in gap on laminate because its a floating floor the proper definition is called air movement gaps. We encourage customers to be there the entire time during our work to show clarity of work being done. I feel you were unprofessional with the word choice you used.
