I hired 1st Rate Construction to renovate the guest bathroom, and I was very apprehensive (I have heard about the horror stories about contractors in San Antonio). Luke put me at ease, he explained in details what he would do, he advised me about some changes etc. He was very professional and I am very happy to have hired his company. The best compliment: he is going to renovate my 2nd bathroom.

The company name speaks for itself, quality and time has always been a focus for me when I hire someone. Luke and his team were fantastic. I had them buff down the thin set on my floors and float the entire area where they were going to install Laminate Wood. The quality of work was absolutely fantastic and they were always on time for each day of the job, I had them working on my project for 5 days. I have already recommended them to friends. 1st Rate Construction just finished a large project for us - a complete overhaul of kitchen, dining and two bathrooms. Luke and his team were very professional and courteous, and the quality of the work was excellent. Our older home presented some unique challenges, but these guys hit the ball out of the park with thier solutions. They were all very prompt and responsive with our questions, and our concerns were their concerns. We are extremely happy with results and we highly recommend 1st Rate Construction for great work at a great price.

Luke & his crew did a great job. They did a remodel of our kitchen to give us more space. They installed new custom-made cabinets, granite countertops, a travertine backsplash, & a new sink. They also had to add tile flooring for the new addition; electrical work was also involved. They were professional, efficient & were a great bunch of guys to work with. We were promised a new, modern kitchen & they definitely delivered on their promises. Would definitely hire them in future.

I received three estimates to repair a water damaged patio column and subsequent soffit and header replacement. 1st Rate was the most timely and reasonable estimate but most importantly I was sold on using 1st Rate because of Luke C, the owner. He was knowledgeable, down to earth, and honest. He sent one of his team, Mariano and his brother, to do the work. He came on time, went directly to work, asked for clarification along the way, and cleaned up after each day of work. I could not have asked for a better experience. The job took three days which was less then estimated. So he finished ahead of time and did 5 star work. I was so happy that when Luke came by to check the work and close out the project I asked him to help me on a future bathroom remodel. I highly recommend Luke and 1st Rate Construction
