They made the effort, it just took a long time to get done, but they got it done.

We came across 1st Rate Construction in San Antonio's Home Mag; we are extremely happy that we chose them to complete our kitchen remodel. We wish we could post some pictures here in regards to their outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail. The final finishes were spectacular, even Luke (the owner) was blow away at the results! A small critique would be the timeliness of our assigned craftsman was occasionally late or got reassigned without notice to us as the customer; resulting in a day delay in the project. Other than that 1st Rate Construction makes up for it in the quality of work they perform. We will hire them again for our next project!

I hired Luke to drywall, paint & texture a 2 ft x 4 ft section of my ceiling where a fluorescent light had been. He was recommended to me by the electrician who installed my recessed lighting. Even though it was a small job, he and Tyrone did a very professional job. They cleaned up after they were done and made sure I was happy with the results. After the paint and texture dried, I can hardly tell where the old light was. It looks great! I would recommend this company to anyone.

Luke did a great job in framing garage door opening for a new door. I was changing from 2 doors to 1 door and needed old doors removed, brick post removed, new 18 foot header installed, and wall finished out. It took 2 days, as promised. We are very happy with the work and would highly recommend this company to others.
