$400 over agreed upon price. Joist work was fine, but then it took another 7 days to get the gutters installed. When done, I found the gutter joints unacceptable, no gutter seams were used. Front gutter leaking and not hung properly. Water gathering near center of house rather than draining to the downspouts.

This contractor is licensed as exempt from work comp but yet had employees doing the job. He claimed they were independent contractors but they were not licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. The workers did not wear the proper safety gear including no fall protection while working on the roof. This out me in a liable situation should one of his uninsured workers suffered a fall. Job was supposedly completed around 9:30 pm and everyone left. It was too dark to inspect their work. Just after 10pm the contractor started calling to collect his money and sent one of his employees back to my house to collect. Besting on door and ringing doorbell. After about 30 minutes the worker left. I went to the post office the next day and mailed check to address that was on the invoice and his license number registered with the State of Oregon. The mail has been returned as undeliverable at the registered address and the one on the invoice. He claims to have given me a 20yr warranty but with no way to find this person or send US Mail to the warranty is most likely worthless. The next day during daylight hours I could see that my metal roof had some damage from them stepping in the wrong place. One metal is bent it needs to be replaced but they have just tried to bend it back in place. I would not recommend this contractor.

I initially requested a bid for skylight installation, however, they quickly became aware that my roof needed repair around the exhaust vents. Given the importance of the findings, I hired this company to install new flashing and repair weak spots in my asphalt shingle roof and they did an excellent job.

Fix it up right gave me a competitive bid on time, and they were available to answer any questions quickly. Communication was excellent and work was done on time with no major issues. Highly recommended!
