Y Professional Tree Service

This company did very good work and I recommended them to 2 other people already, very respectful , answered all questions I had..

Tree removal and trimming were both done very well, but they either refused or failed to return to remove the stump. I had to get another company to do it.

Fast, high quality, cost was great

These young men give us older folk hope for the future! They were professional, personable, knowledgeable and efficient. They arrived when they said they would, wasted no time taking care of the trees and shrubs and cleaned up the debris better than I would have done. The price was fair and reasonable. (I got estimates from two other companies that were both a little lower in price; BUT this group talked in terms of SAVING my trees instead of pushing me to just take them down completely. That impressed me, because it would have been easier for them to have cut the trees off at the ground instead of doing a selective cut on all the trees.) They brought enough crew and equipment to do the job well (my father, uncles and grandfather were all loggers so I know a little about the subject! Ha!) and took great care in moving the boom truck in and around in my yard. The other thing that impressed me and that I greatly appreciated was the patience with which they worked me into their schedule. My yard is soft and we were scheduled for several days of rain. They graciously worked with me on waiting until the ground was firm enough for the boom truck not to cause ruts in the yard. If I could give them more stars I would! Next time I need tree work done, Y's will be the company I call without hesitation.

Y does a good job at a good price. The only reason I didn't give them a 4.5 instead of a 5 is because of communications issues. Two guys came to the house to give me an estimate. However, the day of the job, two new guys came out and they didn't know that they were to climb up a large oak tree and cut out some branches. I assumed that the guys who gave the estimate would have communicated this. They did cut the limbs off the tree, but I was disappointed that they weren't told ahead of time that that was part of the job.

Hired Y to remove 3 large sweet gum trees. Came out the day for a quote and was able to negotiate a fair price compared to other tree companies. They have all the big equipment needed for quick removal and were very efficient. I knew the lack of communication others expressed, so it was not surprising to not have regular updates from them, but we were not super concerned with that, as they got all the work done before asking for any payment. The job took 3 days (only worked a few hours a day), but was spread out due to different equipment needed, which I am sure were being used at other job sites. I am sure if you want a timeline and regular updates they will accommodate you if you are clear upfront with them. My yard needs some work to fix all the divots and gashes from all the branches but that is to be expected, but am so thankful I would not have any more spiky balls to clean up!

The value and the performance of the service were great. The only reason for not receiving a 5 is that communication and punctuality could have been better.

Need help with worker communication

These young men did a fantastic job for us! We had oak trees with multiple dead limbs and low canopies. They provide our only shade so removal was not an option. The young men arrived on time for the estimate. They were pleasant, courteous, professional and gave us helpful information. They told us exactly how they planned to trim and thin the oaks and to raise the canopies on those and on two Bradford pears. Even though their price was a shade higher than the other two estimates, it was still very reasonable AND they seemed more Interested in saving the trees than the other two companies did. Plus, we especially appreciated their willingness to work with our schedule. The trees look healthier. They cleaned up the yard better than I would have and I am happy! Oh, and they somehow managed to trim my front hedges and clean up the debris while I wasn't looking!! Awesome!! Thank you guys! We will be recommending your company to anyone who asks!
