I was disappointed with the preparation of the walls. Their marketing materials indicate they sand the walls prior to painting them, but that is not accurate. They did not sand the walls prior to painting. They painted over many major imperfections and then had to sand the walls (at my request) and repaint them. I called the office twice to address my concerns, with unsatisfactory results. They addressed the most glaring imperfections, but the walls are still not smooth. I'm sure that the owner of this company would not be satisfied with this paint job, had it been in his home. The crew, however, was professional, polite, and punctual. I had comparable quotes from other companies that clearly stated they would sand the walls prior to painting, but I went with United Painting because they had an impressive portfolio and detailed marketing materials that explained their entire process (including the sanding). In retrospect, I would have gone with one of the other companies that spends their money on doing the job right, not glitzy marketing materials.
