"We recently finished a major home addition with LKS Construction, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Communication throughout the project was great. Anytime there were delays due to weather, materials, or inspections, Luiz explained what was going on and kept us in the loop. The quality of the work is excellent — they really know what they’re doing, and it shows in the finished product. The project did take alot longer than originally estimated, but it started in the winter and there were a few unavoidable delays along the way. Even so, the company handled challenges extremely well. They were especially impressive when problem-solving issues with subcontractors and working through some unexpected engineering challenges. "We hired Maize Restoration for their comprehensive project evaluation (CPE) This is in advance of the actual renovation project and this review is specific to their CPE. We liked the idea of first engaging Maize restoration to scope the project throughly before committing to using them for the actual renovation. The process involved a few on site meetings (at our house) and several hours of detailed information gathering by Chase, Maize's president. We were pleased with the result of a couple of lifelike 'photos' of the completed bathroom and a roadmap of how we'd proceed. Chase "got it." Based on this, we have engaged Maize for the remodeling and we look forward to working with them on that project. Chase had come highly recommended by a couple of colleagues. We have interviewed a number of contractors for the project and we found that Maize's CPE gave us the confidence that they understood what we needed and would be good to work with.
