They did exactly what I asked and wanted. I and my wife are very happy with the work. My main concern was that after the thinning process that our trees still looked beautiful and not hacked to death. They achieved that as well as cleaned up all of the cuttings and hauled them away. They made sure I was satisfied before they left.

These guys were prompt and courteous. I purchased a property with several very large oaks in desperate need of trimming and one to be removed. This was a big job, and I wanted to find a company that could handle the work and take care of future needs I might have. The owner, Chris, was attentive to my requests and quoted a fair price. The guys came on the day scheduled and finished the job in a couple of days. His workers were respectful and considerate. The only issue was some miscommunication on a few outstanding items that were not completed with the initial job. These took a while to get resolved; despite that blip, these guys are men of integrity and have my recommendation.

We paid him in advance for the 1st trimming and also for one year's service. He skipped most of the shrubs and didn't have proper equipment. We didn't want him back but he hasn't returned all of our advance payment after 60 days. He gave us back $300 of the $500 we paid him after 30 days. He cut our garden hose and only worked 2 hours for the $275 we paid him in advance for the 1st trimming. We tried to tell him we weren't satisfied and what we expected but he wouldn't listen. He didn't even have a waste barrel and skipped much of the clean up.

I interviewed a half dozen companies, Chris was hands down best. He is knowledgeable, customer satisfaction is paramount and pricing more than fair, much more reasonable than the larger companies. My wife was very comfortable as he made a possibly difficult job effortless. I do happily recommend him as a keeper. (From the spouse) I was very impressed with Chris from the very beginning. Because of him, a difficult project became easy for us and really pleasant. He was very courteous, patient and even more importantly, VERY RELIABLE! We love the landscaping changes and additions he and his crew made for us. We look forward to calling him again when we are ready to do more and certainly do endorse him.

Chris and his crew came out on a Friday to look at my project and provide me with a quote. After receiving three quotes I decided upon Top Notch based on value and the face they did not need to bring in heavy equipment to do the job. He was also willing to work with my immediate needs to satisfy my home owners after an outside inspection resulted in them threatening to cancel my coverage. Chris's climber was exceptional! His ability to know where a limb will swing after being tied off and cut was incredible. They were here for 5 straight hours and were willing to work with me on a couple of additional requests. Great value and quality work!
