The first visit was not up to standard. I have been decluttering and packing an apartment that I've lived in for 18 years, along with my girlfriend for 13 of those 18, my son for eight of those, and a family friend for a year. I spent 3 months decluttering the place, and I still wasn't 100% finished when the Mover showed up the first time. I did not like his attitude at all he refused to listen to me when I tried to explain things and immediately went outside and called his boss, and we agree to reschedule the move for Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around and I've been packing and throwing away things left and right right up until they pulled up it a little after 9:00. The three gentlemen who I spoke with were cordial and they got right to work. They had this apartment loaded on the truck in an hour barring some things that they couldn't take, and they brought it over to my new apartment and got it unloaded in less than an hour. It was a much more satisfactory experience. If I got these three guys the first time, I would have given a five-star rating.
Hello Brian, thank you for sharing. As you are aware and mentioned in your review, you were not nearly as ready the first time. It is a bit frustrating for our movers to come into work expecting to work a full day and then drive an hour only to realize the customer isn't ready for them. We provide a helpful tips document in all of our email communications so that our customers can review this and be prepared for their mover. In any event, my apologies if the first team of movers showed their feelings of disappointment in an inappropriate manner. I am happy to hear that everything went well on the 2nd attempt after you finished getting ready for them. We appreciate you!

My movers Ryan and Kaleb went above and beyond to help me. Even helped get my very scared cat in the crate and put him in my car. They were very careful and respectful of my furniture. I highly recommend this company!

Be aware of their estimates... whatever they quote you (range) will be what you will pay. For example, they said my move would be between 5 and 7 hours... so that was the price range. Well, they ended up only needing 3 hours and required me to pay the minimum on their estimate (for 5 hours). The end of the story was I ended up paying several hundred dollars more than the job required.
Our goal is the first sentence of your review, "whatever they quote you (range) will be what you will pay". That is exactly correct and that is how every estimate should be. We have minimums for a reason because it is not worth our time to send a crew out that day in that time slot for anything less. We do this to ensure that we do not set aside an 8hr day for 4 movers, for example, then show up to find that the customer moved most everything themselves without updating us and it gets completed in a couple of hours. Meanwhile, we could have booked this truck for another job and kept our employees working. In your situation, you were told that there was a minimum and made the choice to move forward with your estimate. It's entered in writing on your quote. I don't believe we should be penalized for that. Therefore, I am happy to see that everything went smoothly within the quoted range and without damage. We appreciate your business!
