Olshan Foundation Repair San Antonio

This company is due to come out this week. I will rate when they are done.

Estimate had wrong measurements, so when crew arrived there was questioned wheather to go ahead with the job or not. One, because of not having enough materials and Two, because we would not do business if the price went up.

My only complaint was that I was asked for my final money immediately (which I understood and did not mind doing) BUT then when I wanted my warranty, I had to call more than once in order to get it. I felt that the warranty should have been given to me when I made the final payment or at least, been mailed within a week without my calling for it.

The work is yet to be done. The team that came out, inspected and gave us the bid was very professional and knowledgeable. All 6 homeowners in our building were very impressed and we look forward to Olshan doing our work very soon! I will update this rating when job is complete.

Frankly, I was disappointed. I wanted my basement repaired, not just waterproofed. They did nothing to correct my misunderstanding about the installed piers. I thought they would somehow be used to correct the tipping walls; the foreman explained they were not going to do any actual repairs, just prevent further deterioration. They did explain that I would receive an engineering report and lifetime guarantee for the work performed. They failed to mention that the guarantee is only valid if you do no major alterations to the house. Which happens to be the exact reason I wanted the foundation corrected in the first place.
