Reviews
Write a ReviewOlshan didn't actually do the work since it was a small job, but I was referred to a handyman that works with them that did small jobs. I'm very appreciative of their honesty and confidence in their reference. The job was completed to my satisfaction.
Sales rep very aggressive to get the job; promised more than he delivered. He was rude and didn't want to help me with several areas of concern; I had to call main office to get help. I still had to pay $400 extra to get what he said I was getting in the first place. Crew and production manager were fabulous! They were in and out in a day or two. You can't even see where the work was done outside.
AAA Service - Would recommend them to anyone!!!
The crew that Olshan sent to our house knew their assignment and were very courteous. The only downfall that I can mention was that the initial engineering did not capture the unique situation of our home (built upon bedrock) and so the crew was not prepared for the situation that confronted them. However, they were able to adapt on the fly and now I'm anxious to find out how well our foundation has been stabilized. If asked, 'would I do it again?',the answer would be yes. Update - sevevral years later 2/1/09 - house is still stable - the foundation repair is still holding well. still satisfied customer.
Wasn't informed that holes would be dug through my concrete porches. Then patch job was "just where the holes were dug" even though I wanted "in a manner that nobody will know holes were dug." Now I have ugly patch spots. Post-work plumbing inspection wasn't scheduled. When nobody came after 4 days, I called & learned they tell you in a letter that comes *after* the work and after they've been paid. Requested eval. 10/1. Eval. was 11/3 (1st avail). Work done 1/27 (1st avail)! Plumbing inspect. is 2/7 & wasn't going to be until 2/14 without me complaining about it taking so long to get it. Biggest complaint: LACK OF COMMUNICATION!!
The estimator was courteous and ontime. He recommended that I did not need the work done at this time.
Crew was excellant. Ladies in the office did everything they could to help us with the schedule we had to meet. Why only "Good" grades, nayone can always do better. Would I hire these folks again........YES, in a heartbeat.
