North Pittsburgh Heating & Cooling

North Pittsburgh Heating & Cooling is very professional and thorough. The quality and level of product (Rheem) is very good, and their quote to me on the job was competitive with even lower levels of units from other contractors. The installation and entire job was done very professionally, and overall is a great looking and functioning system. The only downside was - because the project was being completed during the hottest days of the year (mid 90s deg F), they got occassional service calls that they needed to respond to, because they are a relatively small company. This extended a two day job to around three and a half days.

Tim responded to my call immediately. He came to my house in the early evening of the same day I called. He was the only service tech who was sincerely concerned about getting air conditioning working on that same evening so that my daughters and I could sleep through the night. He was able to get my air conditioner working until I am able to replace my twenty year old furnace/air conditioner. Without a doubt, Tim is my go to person for all my house heating and cooling needs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tim to anyone who is need of air/heat service. It gives me great confidence to know that there are truly good people in the world like Tim.

Tim is very conscientious and went way beyond expectations. He replaced the blower wheel and rewired some previous shady electrical work. He performed the job at the agreed to price but threw in a free motor when he noticed that the shaft was worn. I highly recommend him.

When North Pittsburgh Heating and Cooling came to our home to replace our furnace, the owner, Tim Sheffer, recognized the need to reconfigure the footprint of our utility closet. With the new configuration, it was easier to access the furnace, hot water tank and water treatment tanks, and allowed for more storage space. His installation was exceptionally neat and clean. After completion of the job it was difficult to even tell they were here, as all old parts were removed and the worksite totally cleaned. Tim and Dan were totally professional and very personable. The final price of the job was very reasonable. We would highly recommend North Pittsburgh Heating and Cooling.

Tim did a great job. He kept me informed. He made sure that I was not disrubted. Place was left so clean you couldn't tell an olf furnance was removed and a new one placed.
