Reviews
Write a ReviewThe company representative was well mannered and very knowledgeable. We went over many different options for our home, and they had many to choose from. We have yet to do the installation as we are budgeting our projects, but we will choose this company once the money falls into place.
I AM SO GLAD THAT THEY DID OUR WINDOWS AND NOW THEY ARE GOING TO DO THE FRONT AND BACK DOOR TOO. THEY ARE VERY RESPECTFUL AND DO THEIR BEST TO DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN FOR THE CUSTOMER.
David, the sales guy, was great. The father/son duo who installed the windows were awesome as well. We are very satisfied and the windows are lovely. It was 82 degrees outside. We forgot to turn the air on and it only rose to 76 degrees inside. The floor in the sunroom is still cool to the touch!
Do not trust this company. Would like out of our contract, no work has been done to date. They won't allow it. On February 8th, my husband and I met with David, nd signed a contract to have a sunroom/addition added to our house at a price of $39,000.00 to include shoring up an existing desk to use as the foundation of this addition. This was with the understanding that we were responsible for having plumbing roughed in, installing the bar and flooring. We had budgeted another $5-10k for this remaining work. We also told him that we had money being shifted around and wouldn't be able to pay the first installation payment of $19,500.00 until April at which time he would send someone to measure and collect these funds. He was happy to take $1000 of this money to honor our contract. We were able to gain access to these funds by March 4th, at which time the measuring person came out. We gave him an additional check for $18,500.00. He told my husband that there was no way that the county would let us shore up the deck and we'd probably have to have it torn out and replaced with either another deck or concrete. He said it could take a while to know for sure. So, that evening, I sent David an e-mail asking for a price for this extra expense as we knew were would be cutting it close within our budget if a substantial amount was going to be tacked onto the project at the end and wanted a heads up. He said he would know something by the following Monday (March 6th). David contacted us and met my husband at the house on March 8th, with a new extra cost of $6000 to tear out the old deck and put down a concrete slab. This takes us to $45,000, eating a huge amount out of our finishing budget. My husband told him we'd have to talk and let him know if we wanted to proceed but was made to sign this new estimate and was told that he had 3 days to cancel. We talked that night and that same evening my husband sent a formal e-mail saying that this would push us out of our comfort zone and we wanted to cancel the project. The next day, Tony, the Sales Manager, contacted my husband and wanted to discuss what could be done to continue the project. my husband told him that he was quoted the most expensive windows and wanted the bottom line walk away, itemized quote by Monday, March 13th. We received nothing but a phone call message and a strange e-mail stating that we were quibbling over pennies and that he wanted to continue the project, at no additional cost. My husband responded by stating that we wanted to cancel the project and wanted a refund by Friday, March 17th. At this point, we felt that they were being very dishonest and were very afraid that we would get into this project and they would start nickel and diming us once they had us at a point we couldn't stop anything. They had already cashed our checks for a total of $19,500.00 and they hadn't even gotten approval from our HOA yet! On March 14th, we received an e-mail from their Operations departmen
The installers, the Longs, a father and son team were excellent in every way. They were neat, efficient, true craftsmen that executed their jobs with great expertieze. They were helpful providing explanations to any and all questions I had. It would be my opinion that they have few equals and none superior.
Great love my windows
Tis company is out of Ohio and all calls to there charlotte office are directed to Ohio office. This company promise a lot and in my opinion those promises are like farts in the wind. The project started on Jan 4 2016 I was told for the amount of work needed to do this job it would take three to four days. They finished up on Jan 27 2016. Yes there were days where it rained and snowed but the actual number of days they could have worked was 15. Call to the contractor were never returned on time. Promises from the owner of the company were broken on a constant basis. The actual work on the house look less than a professional would have done. The men they sent out were more experienced in doing sunrooms than Vinyl siding installs. I thought I was dealing with a professional company after reading all these glowing reviews, but sadly this was not the case. I cannot contact the salesman or the contractor who sold and directed the work on my house because Joyce Factory Direct fired them in the middle of this project. If you do hire this company please get all the promise they make to you in the contract that you sign and make sure you and they can read the contract. The salesman who wrote up this contract did not have it typed up and his handwriting was poor. We had disputes on what was promised and what was listed in the contract. Again this goes back to those promises being farts in the wind thing.
Window quality appears to be good, install has been a nightmare.
Everyone was very professional and on time to complete work
This was a good experience. Took longer than we thought it would due to inspections however we are very satisfied with the end result.
