Hi Tech Window and Siding Installations, Inc.

I had hired this company to put in new windows after reading reviews about the windows. Then I read reviews about the Hi Tech and they had about 12 bad reviews, so I cancelled the order. The owner called me and said they had 93 good reviews and to give them a chance. They would send someone down the next day to take measurements. I told him they had to be here early because I was going on vacation the next day. I had a 10 AM appointment. The tech called me at 10:20 AM and was 40 miles away and he would be late. Apparently he made no effort to get here on time. I called and cancelled the order. When I told my brother about it he said they were the same company that put his roof on and it has leaked since they put it on

Hi Tech sent out a salesman who quoted us for the replacement of two skylights, an exterior door and basement window. We accepted the quote, and signed a contract. We then didn't hear from Hi Tech for 8 weeks. When I contacted them, they explained that things were busy because of the bad winter. After another couple weeks of silence, we called them again. Their story was now that our skylights were an odd size, and they couldn't replace them. These are the same skylights that we'd already signed a contract and paid a deposit for. Finally after more months of back and forth, Hi Tech finally came and installed our door and window, but no skylights. The window installation is fine, but while installed the door, they cracked a piece off of one our interior tiles that they filled in with caulk. They also didn't clean up, leaving a lot of construction dust in both workspaces and leaving trash in the year.

2/26/16 We not only used Hi-Tech Windows and Siding to install all new (gorgeous) windows as part of the renovation of our 1893 Queen Anne Victorian near the water, but we also used them to do the entire exterior of our large house in several colors of siding and trim using their James Hardie product, indistinguishable to us and to many folks walking by who ask for the paint ,N rand and #, from wood. We also received all new gutters. Bill, the President, is extremely accessible and willing to help get every last detail correct--even if a few small things need changing after the fact!

I work often with contractors and must say that the quality of the workmanship and professional nature of the workmen was outstanding! I would recommend Hi Tech to others without hesitation.

Had them redo part of the siding job to look more professional.

Appreciated the profession quality of all aspects of the job. They even finished the job earlier that they first scheduled.

While my job has not started yet, I am very anxious and looking forward to it being so. I initially met Jeremy, the Project Manager, and then had a visit from Mr. Hayes, the installer, who did some measuring. In both cases I am so pleased to have chosen this company - very, very fine gentlemen. Needless to say, I'm glad I chose them.

These people came the next day as promised. Did the job very well. Pleasant people to deal with .

The exterior door installation was done expertly and carefully. My door frame was not square with the old door but they spent hours making it just right. The door is very well insulated and doesn't leak any cold air. I am very pleased with the results and do recommend Hi Tech Windows and Doors.
