I had a sofa cleaned. He arrived on time, with a young man to help him. Before he came over, he asked me to tell him about the piece, the make, material, dimension, what the tags said, and then he quoted me a price. When he arrived, and looked at the tags, he explained that it would be more than double the quoted estimate. I was shocked. This was very disappointing, and I got the feeling that this was not uncommon. I would not have done the job, or would have gotten other estimates, had I known it would cost this much. Also, I had to air out the room for a few days from the very strong chemical smell.

Well done. The next day i went over the rug with my Hoover vacuum that shows a red light when it encounters dirt and a green light for clean areas. It never showed a red light. I know now that i should have questioned what the total service package consists of. i assumed i was getting scotch guard when i did not. After the cleaning i was told that a teflon application was available.
