Our house looks absolutely fabulous!! We are so happy with the work. We have gotten so many compliments from all our friends and neighbors. I would highly recommend this company. We loved the crew, headed by Scott Peterson, they were professional and courteous, answered all our questions, and informed us of everything they were doing. They did an amazing job!!!

Cronkhite Home Solutions replaced my siding and installed new windows and gutters. When the job was complete, they cleaned up the entire area. The house looks great.

We signed a contract with Cronkhite Home Solutions to have windows and siding installed. After the kitchen window was put in we contacted Shayne Diebel because it was not level and it was also not finished well. There were gaps left in the wood and knotholes in the trim they put around the inside of the window. We decided we would rather have a different window and we were given an estimate, but he never came by with a contract. When they came out to put in the front door Lowes did not have the French door kit to go with the storm doors. The worker told me that the boss wanted the last $1000 for the job but since the storm doors weren’t in I was uncomfortable paying for the rest of the job since the job wasn’t done. I paid him $500. Once I got the storm doors straightened out with Lowes I texted Shayne and the worker who installed the door. Shayne replied telling me someone would take care of it. Lowes started calling every couple of days and whenever they called, I would text the contractor to let him know that the doors needed to be picked up. This went on for about three months. I finally texted them saying that it was obvious that they were not interested in finishing the job and I may as well keep the last $500 to hire another contractor to finish the job. I never got a reply. On the first windy day after the siding was installed, a piece of aluminum fascia board fell off the eaves over the garage. I texted repeatedly and included a picture. Shayne kept telling me the guys would take care of it. To date nothing has been done. Working with this contractor has been frustrating experience. We would just like to have the work completed.

Overall I am very satisfied. The only thing that people should know is not to expect voluntary communication from this company. If you want to know what is going on before they get started be prepared to call them and ask. Going through the Home Advisor site I had a call almost immediately, signed a contract the night they showed up and quoted expected work to start within a couple of days as everything I wanted was stocked, it was a couple of weeks. Make sure to get a start date agreed upon in writing! I was promised a call the next day to verify they would be out but I had to call them. I left a message and got no return call. I called again and left a message the next day finally getting a call back the following morning. Definate issues with communications. The project took twice as long to complete as well due the the fact that instead of having 2 installers it was just 1. He did a great job installing vinyl and a roof on my 12x20 shed with a dormer.

This company was timely and professional throughout the project. I would hire them again if needed on another project.

Update 10/21/15: The project manager came out today for a final walk thru and after talking to him I learned of things and it seems there was nothing more than a lack of communication. We decided to get a bid from them on another project and will recommend them in the future. Our shutters are up, the job is complete, and we love our new siding. 10/15/15 We bought the top of the line siding but it was thinner than what was currently on the house. The wrong shutters were ordered. We were told that we would have the correct ones by 10/9/15. We still don't have them and have not heard from the company. The installer was very nice and did a good job. He quickly corrected some minor things I did not like. I think the clean up could be much better. There were lots of nails in the yard and my flower beds. I also found two pieces of razor blade in the flower beds. The salesman was very pleasant but told us he would be our project manager and we have never had any contact from him. I love my new siding but wish there was better communication from them. I don't think I should have to call them to ask when they will be here for the final inspection and installation of the shutters. He did a good job but not sure I would recommend them. I had other things around the property that I need done but will look for someone else to do them.

While I was prepared for a more extensive solution needed, they said we only needed a simple solution after assessing our project. My only complaint is that the installer had problems with his house flooding and not being able to retrieve his tools the night before our scheduled install but nobody called to notify of this until we called, the afternoon of our scheduled install, wondering if they were still coming.

We are very happy with our new deck. The project was completed on time and on budget. Cronkhite was great to work with and we will definitely hire them for future projects.

THE JOB SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN DONE VERY WELL BUT TIME WILL TELL . THE 2 WORKERS WERE FROM CUBA IL. THEY WERE HARD WORKERS , VERY POLITE AND COOPERATIVE AND CLEANED UP THE MESS . THEY DESERVE A RAISE ! I WOULD HIRE THEM FOR ANY JOB THEY WERE QUALIFIED FOR .
