Reviews
Write a ReviewCME communicated with me from the time I made the appointment all the way up to my door. Jason the technician was friendly and enjoyable to talk with. Jason was very knowledgeable of his work. Will hire CME again.
The job was to replace 5 combination arc fault circuit breakers which took less than an hour. I was charged 3x what each circuit breaker cost plus the usual service fee just for coming out. I checked at local stores and found that each breaker was $42.77. I was charged $149 for each, making this bill $900 including service charge. When I spoke with service manager he had all kinds of reasons why they charged 3x the cost for each breaker. Outrageous! I called around and found that most other places charged around $50 for each breaker plus cost to come to my home. In the end the company credited me with $150. I would not recommend CMC electric.
Satisfied!!!
prompt, knowledgeable, detailed
Electrical outlets in the master bedroom and light socket on the exterior of the garage needed service. Scheduling with them was easy and their electrician was prompt and professional. Will use them again for any future issues.
We were scheduled to have a manual transfer switch installed. After waiting much of the day, they called to ask if we could reschedule because they didn't have all of the parts necessary for the job. They didn't seem to know that earlier in the day when they texted me to say the technician was on his way. The original appointment was between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. I called at approximately 10:30 and was told we were "next". at 11:26 I received the text and at about 1:30 p.m. I was told the technician would not be coming today. How did they begin work today and not know that they didn't have the parts for the job? The experience also began with them requesting that I accept an earlier time for the initial estimate / consultation. I wasn't able to accommodate them due to earlier appointments. However, the technician still called earlier on that day to tell me he was close by and could come over if I was available. Luckily I had returned home earlier than expected and was able to see him. It did seem that the company was determined to change my appointment time to one more convenient for them. I suspect that there is a different reason my appointment wasn't kept today. I very much regret getting involved with this company.
