I used Roger for multiple projects on my house.: He fixed a leak in my roof Sealed up my stone foundation. Replaced structual damage to a main beam and repaired the related door and celling damage. Then fixed the jam in the door. Repaired the source of the damage. By repeating a second floor door. And installed a storm door to prevent further water erosion. All of the work was competed in a professional, thoughtful manner. With attention paid to preparing the sites and cleaning up every day. Iâ ve dealt with numerous contractors. Roger Contacted me quickly and arranged for the repair within two days. He carefully looked at the leak and clearly explained the repair procedure . He was polite and professional. I highly recommend him.

Roger responded immediately and checked my roof the next day. Apparently a racoon had chewed into a roof flange and there was a hole in the roof. He even temporarily patched it that day and sent me a photo. About a week later he came back to repair properly. Even though his quote was higher then other contractors I chose to go with Roger due to his professionalism.

After a raccoon ripped a hole in our roof ridge vent, it needed immediate attention. Roger was the first to respond and was able to come out and do the repair the same day. Though he couldn’t match the shingles perfectly, it was certainly close enough given you can’t see it from the street. Job well done at an agreeable price.

Last summer, I hired Roger to replace two skylights as well as a double hung window. I was very pleased with the end result. Not only was the job done well, but the guys that completed the work were courteous and worked diligently to get the job done. Fast forward 7 monthsâ ¦I noticed random shingles in the yard. Turns out the ridge cap had several holes and, of course, the forecast called for heavy rain later that evening. After calling at least 5-6 roofers/contractors in my immediate area (who either promised a call back, or didnâ t pick up), I remembered Roger. He responded immediately and said that if I couldnâ t find anyone, heâ d be over later that night. Roger showed up around 8pm and worked on the roof, in the dark, for over 2 hours to repair the ridge caps. I really donâ t know when this man sleeps! His rates are fair, he's responsive and he SHOWS UP (something that is getting harder to find in this day and age). I have several other projects that need to be completed in the future and I plan on calling Roger and his team. I would most definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I noticed some fallen shingles on the ground around 2pm and looked at my roof and saw I was missing ridge cap shingles. When I went to the attic to check, there was a hole straight through my roof, and of course tomorrow we are getting major weather with lots of rain and wind. As heights are not for me, I frantically searched internet for repair for that afternoon with very little hope. I sent a request through homeadvisor, and got a can of foam insulation ready to go into the attic to at least fill the holes in case I didn't hear back in time. Low and behold, I get a call from Roger saying he could come by TODAY! I put down the can of foam, closed the attic and couldnâ t believe we would have repair service day of. I figured it would be very expensive but I was wrong. Roger came 15 minutes before sunset, masked-up and very friendly and professional. He set up his ladder and lights and was up on the roof fixing ridge cap very quickly. He ended up finding more issues while up there and he repaired those as well. He was up on the roof in the dark. Could not believe it but he was very comfortable up there. While on the roof we got to talking and we also needed some interior trim around front door fixed, and while he was here he ended up replacing the entire door frame as I had material on hand. Roger may be the best gem I have found on Cape for contractors. Hard working, honest, so fast, and reasonably priced. He could have raked us over the coals because was before a storm but he didnâ t. I will be using Byam Construction for any and all needs and will recommend him to all of my friends and neighbors. I strongly recommend Roger for any carpentry & roofing needs.
