"First off , if you are not a fan of the TV show "Shark Tank" you need to get past the name of the company. But you won't be sorry you did. It turns out that Mr. Wonderful is a guy named Paul. I called him to replace an electric meter at the suggestion of the utility company who advised that it was corroding. I also needed to replace some light switches. During his initial visit he examined the meter and the wiring from the utility to my house. He carefully explained to me exactly what steps he would take to make the repair and pointed out the details on my house to illustrate his explanation. He gave me a written estimate, (actually email) outlining both materials and labor that would likely be required. I also told him that the utility company had said that replacing the meter would solve a problem with flickering lights in part of the house .He and his assistant, Jason, returned on the agreed date promptly after confirming with me the day before. When he was done, he told me that the meter did in fact need replacing, but that he didn't feel it was the cause of the flickering lights. While we were talking, sure enough the lights did their thing again, proving his point. He quickly figured out that there were some circuit breakers that were damaged, and replaced them.- Problem solved!!! In addition to knowing his business, Paul was courteous , and professional throughout the process, and, having done some comparison shopping, I felt that the cost was fair. I would certainly hire him again."

"I was very pleased with their service. My washing machine had broken and was very expensive to repair. In purchasing my new machine through M and L, the service fee from the first visit was deducted, and the price of the machine completely reasonable. They took away my old machine, brought the new machine, hooked everything up, and showed me the differences between my old machine and my new machine. I was very pleased with their service and their promptness. Both of the gentleman who came to my house or a professional, polite, and friendly. I highly recommend this this company."

"When this winter season started our 60 year old gas boiler was patched up by our current provider to provide heat on antemporary basis until a new gas boiler could be researched, priced and installed. As a courtesy our current repair company, who now was now oil heat oriented and two other suppliers were contacted and I obtained 3 estimates. Since a new gas boiler is an expensive item to replace, I researched the cost on line and came up with a purchase price that I considered reasonable and willing to pay. The 3 price estimates varied by a difference of $5,000, so buyer beware. I chose Universe Appliance Repairs, Inc. based on several discussions I had with their Project Coordinaor/Estimator, and an executive who happened to answer my call rather have a customer on hold during a busy time. From my first contact with Universe, I found them to be totally customer service oriented, understanding my boiler needs, knowledgeable about boilers and appliances, proactively made suggestions. patiently answered my questions, and offered to do the work when I was available, offered a reasonable deposit at time of signing their contract. The installation technicians arrive promptly, worked well together as a team, tested the system, cleaned up after themseives, and showed me how to use the new thermostats that were installed. I highly recommend Universe, and will definitely continue to use them in the future for all my appliances should the need arise."

"They did an excellent job. First and foremost, they soothed my fears and worries when they arrived. Out of all the places I called at 10 PM they were the only ones willing to come out that night to look at the issue I was having. They informed me of the steps I would need to take till the morning so they would be able to purchase the materials to repair the boiler. By the following day, they arrived with everything they needed. They addressed all my wonders/questions and talked me through the different steps they were taking to repair the boiler. I was much encouraged by our telephone conversation, and I was even more impressed when Rene and his partner, Marvin, arrived. "It is imperative that everyone knows about Mathew and the kind, charming man he is. I got to know him because our boiler took its last breath on Monday December 2, 2019. My husband was looking to hire someone to replace our boiler he came across Mattie through HomeAdvisor, he accepted the call and asked me to speak to him. We instantly connected, exchanged a couple of laughs and asked if he could come to look at our boiler later that evening. Mattie was punctual, and did not charge to come all the way out to our home in valley stream, as others might do while making house calls. He does business the old-fashioned way! As soon as Mattie arrived that evening he was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. At that very moment, I had a gut feeling that if I chose Matt to replace my boiler it would be in great hands and that I had nothing to worry myself about. After our consultation was over on December 2nd I told Matt that I had other people coming in for quotes, and I would let him know what I was going to do and if I was going to hire him for the job. After meeting with all the people I did not feel comfortable or satisfied with any of them as I did with Mathew. On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, I called Matt and finalized all the details and decided to hire him to replace my boiler and water heater. Let me tell you... I did not think I would have a working boiler and water heater as quick as I did, we have like 9 family members living in this house, which does not have proper insulation and the windows are a bit old as well. So it was pretty cold to say the least. Ages ranging from 1 1/2 year old to a 75-year-old. We had to be bundled to the max, as the weather for this week was in the low 30s. I wanted that boiler fixed like yesterday and that is exactly what Matt delivered. Friday, December 6, 2019 6:45 a.m. sharp Matt and his crew were outside my home. His team worked like a well oiled machine and before I could say **Bada Bing Bada Boom** I had a beautiful boiler and a hot water heater installed. I cannot praise enough the efficiency of his team. Since we clicked so well it was only natural that I take my chance and ask him to fix something extra! But to my delightful surprise, he went above and beyond my expectations... money very well spent. He changed the majority of my radiator valves in my home without any charges and, let me tell you, it made all the difference. We used to have to put the heat to 77 to get decent heat on the second floor but now we do not need to go above 72. Not to mention one of the bedrooms did not even get heat previous to Matt fixing the valves. One other **on the house** jobs he did for me before he left was relocating the thermostat which also made all the difference as the previous boiler guy I had work done by screwed it up and set it up in the absolute wrong place. I know I probably should not have mention all these things he did for me because, but he just is a stand up guy and I feel obliged to as it shows the absolute sweetheart and kind-hearted human he is. It is hard to find people where its not all about the money but rather the quality of relationships we make when we meet one another. Integrity is choosing your thoughts and actions based on values rather than personal gain. It is safe to say I highly recommend Matt and his crew from On Time Piping and Heating LTD. You will not be disappointed. P.S. I waited to post the review because I wanted to see how smoothly the boiler was going to run. I know I wrote an essay but it is a well deserved review. Thank You!"

"I'm a very happy customer. Dillon is very professional plumber. He suggested to me good unitto replace my old gas water heater. He and his partner did installation great. While they work on water heater heating furnace got problem. Oh boy! But Dillon figured out the issue and fixed in one day. Very reasonably priced! I recommend them in high confidence.
