Fortunately I called Dominion and received first rate help over the phone by one of the ownerâ s wife (with young children playing in the background) who said her husband would call me as soon as she could reach him. He called later that evening and said a technician would be out first thing in the morning. The other owner, Cameron, showed up at 10:00 am and had my air conditioning working by 11:00 at a cost $500.00 less than another company was going to charge me. Adam and Cameron left larger companies to go out on their own and are building their business one satisfied customer at a time. I couldnâ t be more pleased with their service and professionalism and thatâ s why Iâ ve signed up for their yearly service contract. Just one less thing for me to worry about at this stage in my life!"

"This is one of the best contractors I've ever dealt with. Although small in size, they stand out in quality and responsiveness. I originally hired them to install a gas line to my masonry fireplace and during the process Scott Kern, the owner, noticed that my boiler sounded like it was percolating which is usually caused by mineral deposits on the heat exchanger. I cleaned it with a soft brush and 2 days later noticed a leak. I called Scott the day before Thanksgiving with no heat or hot water (the boiler heats an indirect water heater) and he quickly generated a very competitive quote for a new, high efficiency boiler which they promptly installed the Friday after Thanksgiving. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and the top-notch customer service. Thanks Kern Mechanical!"

"Duane is still on the job, because I’ve had additional issues unrelated to the thermostat installation. He made it a point to come out the following day, because my condenser fan was not turning. Well, the thermostat works perfectly! And I know Duane is the right person to also fix my air conditioner, because he clearly knows how they work. He is honest with his assessment of what could be wrong, and up front about costs. They are also really accommodating.
