Our air conditioner died on September 4th and we decided to take our time to find the right company and not rush into a purchase just because it was 90 degrees out side.  I recieved estimates from Home Depot, Costco and a friend of a friend then I searched on Angie's List for a recommended company.  Dayco came out and was very professional and listened to what we wanted. My husband had a very firm idea on the size and what type of unit we were interested in.  Dayco came in with a very compeitive bid and was very helpful with out decision.  They re-arranged their schedule to accommedate us since we had no air in the house for over week.   It took them most of the day to install both units and they did a fantasic job. The house was clean and spot less and not one item was out of place.  The unit works great and we enjoyed wonderul air conditioning.  We also now have tried the heat and it worked. The variable speed on the fan was a wonderful sugguestion and I am so glad we went with Dayco I would highly recommend this company.

Water was dripping from the A/C vent in our basement bathroom.  I had a plumbing company come out.  They inspected the drains and pipes in the bathroom on the floor above and found no problem.  They said it must be condensation coming from uninsulated A/C ductwork.  I called Dayco Systems because I have purchased new systems from them and have service contracts for all 3 of my systems.  I spoke with Katie and explained my problem.  Even though they were very busy, she asked Ben, a truly great service rep, to see if he could find the time to come out and take a look at the problem.  Upon his arrival and inspection of the leak, he asked if he could cut away part of the wet drywall on the ceiling to get a better look at the problem as the A/C ductwork at that vent seemed to be intact and dry.  When a portion of the wet ceiling was cut away, he identified the problem as a leaking copper water line.  I asked if there was anything he could do to repair it rather than me having to call out the plumbing company again.  He said he could and he would speak with Dean (owner and another truly great guy) and get back to me.  He was soon back with the necessary part.  He cut away the leaking section of pipe and made the repair.  I thanked him and asked what I owed for doing a job that he and Dayco could have easily said was not their responsibility and he said I owed them nothing.  He said they appreciated my business (they had installed two new systems for me last April) and they appreciated me recommending them to my neighbors (one of which bought a new system also).  I was speechless.  I truly believed that companies like Dayco Systems did not exist anymore.  I am happy to say I was wrong.  Thank you Dean, Ben, Katie and all the other great people that work for Dayco Systems.  You have a customer that will be loyal to you as long as you are in business.

When the system died, we called Dayco, and Wayne arrived quickly.  He assessed the situation, replaced some coolant as a temporary fix, and talked with us about the type of replacement system we would prefer.  After hearing our preferences, he made recommendations, gave us prices in writing, and told us to call him if we had questions or wanted to discuss options further.  We were impressed with his product knowledge and lack of sales pressure. After making the decision, we called Wayne and he and the Dayco Team responded quickly.  The technicians who installed the new system arrived on time as scheduled, were polite and professional, and cleaned up everything.  The cost was exactly as quoted. The system is working well.  We also like that the 5" filter will have to be replaced only once a year.  We are pleased with the entire process and highly recommend Dayco to others.

Everything was very good. There were some mixed up because the unit that they arrived was the wrong unit. The warehouse put the wrong unit in the truck which necessitated another drive back otherwise it would have been one day installation but they were nice about it. They were on time and they finished what they said although it took two days. They get to come back the next day with the right unit. The clean up was fine, the people were professional and when they did have to come back the next day they send an extra man to make sure that it would be fast and done within the time limit they have set originally. They sent a written estimate with three different options and follow up telephone call, explained each of the options and more details exactly what the difference were. We were satisfied that we were able to do the purchase and installation within our budget. We got what we wanted with a fair price.
