I hired Rick to install my new microwave above my stove and he did an amazing job. He communicates well and got the job done fairly quick. I would definitely hire him again for any up and coming projects.

Rick reached out within hours of my requesting service via Angi and scheduled a same-day visit. He quickly assessed the situation --- needing to finish an attempted DIY over-the-range microwave installation --- and jumped right in. My spouse and I helped with a few tasks while he did most of them (including all the heavy lifting and elevated work), explaining as he worked what needed adjustments so everything would fit. He charged a $175 and was done within less than 90 minutes of arrival. We are very happy with the results. If you want a job done right Rick is the man you want. He not only went out shopping for the kitchen range I wanted he went out of his way to work within my budget. The installation was immaculate as was the removal of old range and hood. The house was perfect when he left and I have a brand new range/hood in stainless steel that looks great in my kitchen. Rick disappointed us. We chose him over a lower bid because he made a good first impression and had great recent reviews. But then: * He was 90 minutes late because he did not already have a 6 saw to create the duct hole. He later argued it is not a common duct size, but it is. He often made excuses for problems. * He broke through the ceiling drywall while working in the attic. He blamed ceiling weakness instead of accepting that he/his materials should have stayed on the plywood and joists as we would cautioned earlier. * While installing the vent cap, he loudly cussed a lot and seemed quite flustered. * He went off the asphalt backing down our driveway, causing a rut in our yard and breaking a solar lamp. He hardly cleaned up and did not offer reimbursement. * His bill was $125 over his maximum estimate. When questioned, he got huffy (but ultimately relented). If he would politely owned up to the problems and charged a reasonable amount, I would not have left this review.

Rick was able to come out the next day to install our dishwasher and microwave. He arrived promptly, was very respectful of our house and quickly and professionally installed both appliances. He was very friendly and was a pleasure to work with. Rick also does remodels and I am confident that he would be just as meticulous on a remodel. We will definitely keep his information for future projects.
