This company went out of there way to accommodate our situation. When they stated a time when work was completed the work was completed. They have a fantastic work ethic. Nothing is to much for them. My wife and I had a massive problem with water in our basement, Tru Basement Water Solutions came in and from the first time Patrick came to our house till the job was done it was nothing but the best experience. Patrick really knows what he’s looking at, he knows the best solutions, and he was very professional about it. When the crew came to our house they worked diligently and efficiently to get the job done, they went above and beyond what we had expected. We are very pleased and satisfied with the outcome. We recommend them to anyone with basement issues.

they were extremely professional. they came when they said they were coming. they performed the work as specified, and cleaned up after the work was performed. the result has been a dry basement with no ongoing issues. I would highly recommend them. also, they were less expensive then other contractors contacted.

Recently had a waterproofing system installed in my basement. While the waterproofing seems to be working the professionalism of the job itself was horrible. They had to cut my paneling and every single cut was crooked. (I could have cut it myself and done a better job.) They also damaged the paneling I have left by leaving huge scuff marks that took the finish off. They did not follow the containment procedures we agreed on and my hvac ended up full of cement dust. I cleaned for over an hour after they left. They totally butchered my basement and it will take me months to repair it. They even came back out to fix their work the next day after I called. I also had to request the return of my built-in wooden bar that the workers just removed and took with them without checking with me first. If you just want your basement waterproofed and don?t care how it looks at the end they might be the company for you but the apathy they showed towards my home has me waiting to see if the waterproofing continues to work.

Hello Jessica, this is Patrick, the owner of TRU Basement Waterproofing. I am sorry to hear that your experience was anything less than 5 stars. The day the work was done, you were present for the job completion and provided final payment. You called into the office about several concerns right after we vacated your residence, which you were nice enough to mention in your review. The review centers around older paneling on your wall(s). To control cost, you chose to remove only what was necessary for us to perform the work. The sole purpose of removing paneling, drywall, etc. on the lower portion of the wall(s) is to do the work properly. When it is not removed high enough, it is possible for the jackhammer to bump up against the existing paneling. The best I can do is to offer to remove the remainder of the paneling. The fact that you were still discontent had not been brought to our attention until this review. We are always responsive and available, and we have not ignored any of your calls. We are confused on why our timely response deterred you from contacting us about lingering concerns. The good news is that you did not have to wait very long for a good rainstorm. We got a significant amount of rainfall that very same weekend. It is hard to say that our company has apathy when we (the company and the operations manager) came back out to your residence to dust and disinfect the basement to your satisfaction within only a few hours of your first initial contact with our office. As a company, all of our customers are extremely important. Since you are one of our customers, our phone lines are always open. Please call us if you have any further questions, comments or concerns.

Fantastic experience! TRU Basement Waterproofing came out to resolve my leaky window well that was previously fixed by DryTech Waterproofing several months ago. Patrick upgraded my existing system with an additional pit and pump since I have such a large basement. He also got my original pit and pump back up to par and compliant. It’s easy to see that Patrick genuinely cares about his customers, and yes, the window well is fixed for good! Thanks again Pat! P.S. Also, the new dehumidifier is working out great!

With the way above average rainfall our area has received over the past year, our overtaxed sump pump could find itself discharging every 90 seconds. Fortunately, we contacted TRU Basement for analysis and evaluation of our system before we experienced a flooded basement. The company president, Patrick DeSantis, developed a plan for upgrading our system that will handle the rainfall, did not impact our finished basement, and most importantly, gave us the most value for our money. In addition, the TRU Basement crew was very efficient, courteous, and professional. And as an added bonus, Tru Basement surprised us with an Edible Arrangement on our anniversary! We are so glad we selected Tru Basement and would recommend them without hesitation.
