More than three times the price I paid five years ago for the service call and a sweep, but I chose to pay it as I wanted the fireplace going for winter. Very accommodating, early to the appointment, professional, helped me light a fire to verify its working order, and left everything tidy (except for emptying the shop vac of soot in the bottoms of my trash can). Had a log lighter conveniently in the truck, but paid additionally (and well) for that! (These last two items reduce one star from the â value of serviceâ category. But the fireplace is going!

Our wood burning fireplace hadn't been used for about 5 years so I wanted to make sure it was safe for fires this winter. Frank was able to come the very next morning, very prompt, so very pleasant and he was done in about an hour. He even cleaned the glass on the fireplace door for us! It was a great experience and I highly recommend Frank! He told me he grew up working with his father who was a mason, so he has been doing this type of work and building fireplaces and fire pits for quite awhile. It's evident he is skilled and knowledgeable! When we are ready to tackle the fire pit project I've been thinking about, I will definitely call Frank!
