The historic freeze caused problems with the water softener bypass. I was desperate to find someone to do a quick physical bypass. Water Dr. did not bother with the **quickie**. They dug up the original plumbing and then re-connected it despite the fact that it was below freezing and he had to lie in the snow to do it. The fee they charged was well below what I expected to pay for that much work.

My water softener froze because of historic artic blast in Texas. I called several companies for help with no response. Even SAWS gave me a 5 day response time. I logged on to Homeadvisor and asked for help. In about 10 minutes I received a call from The Water Doctor. And within an hour they arrived at my home. As a first time homeowner, I knew I needed a water softener, but I didnâ t know how water softeners worked. After filling out an inquiry in Angieâ s List, I was connected to the Water Doctor the next day. Mrs. Lozano spoke to me over the phone with the upmost level of professionalism and in a way that I could understand. She reviewed some of the packages with me over the phone, and we were both felt that the three-stage package, which includes a 32,000 grain water softener, a reverse osmosis system, and a carbon filter system would suit my needs. Mrs. Lozano arranged to come to my home the next day after our initial phone call. She arrived dressed professionally and quickly performed a quick water test to determine the level of hardness. After testing my water, she got straight to the point and went over a few package options with me based on my needs and budget. We decided the three-stage system we discussed over the phone would be great for my needs. Mrs. Lozano did not push any more expensive packages on me, and I did not feel pressured to buy more than what I needed. This is a family owned and operated business, so there are no aggressive salespeople. The price quoted included equipment and installation, including any minor drilling needed for the reverse osmosis system. Mrs. Lozano even went over post-installation maintenance and instructions with me. I was able to continue working from home during the installation process. Once the installation was complete, Hugo showed me how to maintain and operate my new system. The water immediately felt lighter and softer, and the reverse osmosis system made my tap water taste just as clean and pure as bottled water. The company even offers a service where they will go to the store, pick up the salt bags, and deposit the salt bags in the system for only the price of the salt bags. This will save me time and heavy lifting. Overall, I am very satisfied with their level of professionalism, customer service, and quality of products. I highly recommend the Water Doctor. Of all the professionals I have hired to repair something at my home, this company & the owners are the best! They are professional, provide a complete review of the situation & their recommendations as to what needs to be done & why. Their recommendations were discussed with me with the pros & cons. They booked an appointment within a few days of our initial meeting. When they installed my new water softener system, I was consulted as to where I wanted it, & advised as to how it works, when to call them & was provided a water test kit so I could check on the softness of the water. They disposed of the old water softener, left the area clean & asked if they could help in any other way or answer any questions. Amazing, professional, caring company owners. The owners at Water Doctor were outstanding!!! They helped me pick an appropriate system, suggested a better location for system, rerouted and installed new system where it’s easily accessible. They went above and beyond by fixing the drains, professionally insulating outdoor pipes, and adding a pressure regulator to the inlet pipe going into my house. None of which was mentioned by other companies that gave me a quote. Their prices are by far the best that I researched. I will definitely be using Water Doctor in the future for all my water softener needs!
