We are experts in our trade and will always keep you educated on your particular task or project. We look forward to earning your business! Please Note, Due to changes in the economy, we don’t offer install only. Our experience has been; these systems are very low quality and so is the price consumers pay for equipment. Most consumers are expecting to pay below $250.00. This is an unrealistic price. Most quality installs for your purchased water softener on a prepared home from other sellers are going to start at $450.00. Giving our absolute best with honesty and commitment to jobs from the very beginning has always been our policy. We look forward to hearing from you.

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because I was a technician working for major companies in San Antonio. I quickly excelled and became an installer. I realized the hardest obstacle companies were facing was finding an licensed professional for their installations. I knew then, I could provide customers with a quality product at a more affordable price without cutting corners on workmanship..

We started in this industry in 2000.

Community Involvement

We are currently working with The Battered Womens Shelter to provide the children with activities to do. We are donating books to The Boys and Girls club.

The Water Doctor did an outstanding job installing our new water treatment system. We were not plumbed for it, so they had to dig in and around all my flower beds and under our sidewalk. When they were finished, everything was back in place and you could not tell anything had been disturbed! Then he showed us how to operate the system, as well as things we may want to do to enhance our experience with the system. Truly refreshing to have a professional that cared about our experience and provide an excellent service that went beyond the norm. Thanks again, Hugo!

Install or Replace a Water Treatment & Purification System

Hired them to install a whole house water softener and filter system. The installer was very knowledgeable. Advised me on the issues of installing that particular system in my area as the fine particles in the water will clog the filter very rapidly and the cost of maintenance would be very high as opposed to another system. Was willing to forgo the installation than install a system that I would be unhappy with. I did decided to install the system anyway, since I had already purchased it. The installation was professional and he answered all my questions. I would hire again.

Great company. Patricia and Hugo arrived for our first meeting on time and tested the water and explained the installation since my house did not have an easily accessable drain location. Installation was very professional. They obtained the necessary city permit and final payment was not due until the city did the inspection.

I waited for multiple years to finally put in a water softener, which is something that is a requirement for living in the city of San Antonio. I talked with multiple companies but ultimately decided on the water doctor as they seemed very honest and were the only company that even mentioned having the city come and inspect the work!!! In addition, they brought all the water lines up to code! Would highly recommend the water doctor to anyone looking to have a water softener installed you won t be disappointed!!!

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
