I have not hired a plumber in years but was shocked at the cost. The plumber was here for about an hour. He replaced an outdoor faucet and a small piece of hose. Invoiced at a little over $400. He was terrific and did a great job in a very timely manner. No complaints there. As I said shocked at the cost.

Tech really didn't know cause of problem. Suggested snaking a drain at $200 and wasn't sure it would take care of the problem. Didn't seem to want to spend the time to figure it out. It didn't fix the problem. Company said since I approved the work there was no recourse. They wanted to send same person back out. Called another company and the looked inside and out and determined my line to street was clogged. Snaked out and all is well.
