I hired this company June 27th, the repair is still not done...

    Response from Company:

I was never hired by this women I asked for a deposit for the materials because it was substantial and she said no and I told her u couldn't do the job than.

. Ron installed a garbage disposal very easily, but I would not recommend him for any carpentry-related projects. He replaced door trim caused by termite damage and the result was not good. He charges $40 per hour, but I would highly recommend getting a flat rate for any large project vs. paying him by the hour.

    Response from Company:

All I can say is I saved this customer about $2,000 in total for not replacing all the wood which I suggested from the beginning but he wanted to repair it instead. I charged him around $300 for the repairs plus painted the repairs and still it was too much for him.

This job was not Great. Talk with Ron on the phone about taking down gutter and replace part of them to the other side of the house, he said he could do that fro me and it would be $40.00 an hour for him to do this, I agreed to pay him the price of $40.00 an hour.On Wednesday he called me and asked if he could do the work on Saturday and I said that is fine what time would you be here? He said 9:00, Great that is fine, I asked him again the cost that it $40.00 an hour he said YES that is my cost plus any parts would be extra. On Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Ron was not here about 10:45 I called him he said that he was just finishing up a job will be there in 15 min. Now he rolls in at NOON time with a helper, we talked again what needed to be done. It took him about 10 min to fine the tools to use. I had to help with the job to get the gutters down, the helper was no help. to busy sitting in the chair drinking water I had sat out for them. Got them down took the parts he needed to put them up on the other side, got that up half way and the rain came down they stood and sat around for about 20 mins then when back as the rain slowed down to finish attaching the gutters to the roof, then Ron looked at me and said that was all he could do for the day because of the rain and if would come back to finish put the calk around the part of the gutter he had to cut. I said what do I owe you at this time it was 2:00 p.m. he said $160.00, What I said? Well I told you it was $40.00 an hour per man, I said no you told me $40.00 an hour period, you could of had 3 or 4 people with you and we went back and forth I paid him the $160.00 for a bad job plus for the 20 mins they said down. I told him not to come back I'll fine someone else that will finish the job, but not for $40.00 per man HA HA. Always get a set price I have learned a lesson with this one. Don't pay by the hour. I would not recommend Ron to anyone.

    Response from Company:

I really do not understand how people can distort the situation to fit their needs. I had asked this customer if I needed someone to help with the gutter and was told no he would help and it was only a couple feet. I also told him I had a job at 9AM and would come to him after that job and I would call him when I was on the way. Which I did do at 10:45 and was given the wrong address and had to call again and get that it was place not street. When I got there it was almost 60' of gutter to remove and install 20' of gutter. We had problems removing the stripped screws which frustrated the customer because he thought it would take 2 seconds. Than it started to lightning and pour down rain we had to stop while it passed which he didn't understand why. As for the second man and the $40 an hour I told the customer the first time if it is just me yes it was $40 but if I had to use my guy it was additional $40 a man hour which he replied I wouldn't need someone else because he was going to there and it was just a small gutter to do.

Ron came to repair our downspouts and repair a roof leak. When he came he started on the repairs and the downspout right away. I was very pleased with his work. I would recommend him to all my friends . we also used Ron again to remove some over grown plants and shrubs. He completed the job and cleaned up all the area. We will definitely use him again. A very good and hard worker.

This job was NOT great. A lot of areas were not completely cleaned, seemed to work slowly and took a cigarette break on a 2 room 2 hour job, also had to borrow some of our equipment.

    Response from Company:

Since I do not smoke I do not know how we took smoking breaks. The customer offered us to use their vacumme cleaner because we were using our shop vac and she didn't like that it could blow the dust everywhere.
