I would not recommend this company based on my experience. I was quoted $1,899 for my move and paid a $250 deposit. The company did a full inventory of my items beforehand, and I was told that price reflected everything. My move was scheduled for May 7th between 10?11 a.m., but the movers didn?t arrive until 12:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they claimed I had more items than expected?even though I?d tried to add them earlier and was told to wait until move day. They added $1,100 in unexpected fees I clearly communicated that my household?including children?would be arriving at our new home on May 9th and that I needed our belongings no later than May 10th. It is now May 14th, and I have received no updates on the location of my belongings or an expected delivery date. This Move was from Texas to Charlotte NC 1,031 miles. Its been 8 days. And if they had been honest I would have known what to expect instead the lack of transparency has left me sitting. Full review on google.

Rudik and Alexander were amazing. I have had two companies move me but I have never experienced the professionalism, customer service and care that I received from these two. We moved from abilene to Florida last May 2025 with Perfectly fast moving (Roman and willy) and they did awesome. They are very professional, they packed our belongings with care, load our things appropriately and securely. They communicated well and very considerate. Overall experience was superb. Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
