? WARNING: DO NOT USE PERFECTLY FAST MOVERS LLC ? We are issuing this public alert after an appalling experience with Perfectly Fast Movers LLC, headquartered in Spokane, WA. They took $4,283 from our family under blatantly false pretenses and provided zero services. What followed was a classic bait-and-switch scheme marked by lies, threats, unprofessionalism, and fraudulent business practices. Here?s what happened: We were promised a full-service move from CA to CO by a rep named Roman?packing included. We paid $3,433 based on his assurances. The night before the move, a woman named Joelle called and demanded an additional $850, threatening to forfeit our deposit if we didn?t pay immediately. Feeling cornered, we paid. We were then berated by a so-called manager named Mandy, who told us Roman ?forgot? to include packing and that it was ?our problem.? On move day, new movers showed up with yet another inflated quote and a mysterious ?regional manager? claimed Mandy had been fi

WARNING: SCAM COMPANY, DO NOT USE. NOT BBB Accredited. Owner: Said Giyazov. These people make moving more stressful! Completely unprofessional and disorganized experience. Held our things hostage, forcing us to call the SHERIFF. Extortion, broken items, no labeling of boxes, used a secondary company, smoking in truck. They bait and switch you from the start. Contracted for a ?Full Pack? but did not do the reassemble, instead the crew left my furniture wrapped in blankets and cellophane, feet side up! Completely understaffed. When they couldn?t fit everything in their truck, they asked US to rent one! I ended up helping extensively to get the job done. There was no apology or discount offered even though I did a lot of work. I fed the crew two meals and bought the cigarettes they requested. Got an estimate, paid a large deposit ($700) only to have the price DOUBLED. DISHONEST, & UNRELIABLE! Try calling Customer Service?goes right into voice mail. This was the worst moving experience o

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
