Metro Builders and Ben Thompson did a wonderful job helping us deal with insurance to get our roof replaced! He's very knowledgeable, professional and personable.

Thank you to Metro builders for doing a fantastic job repairing my chimney. It was leaking from rotted wood and flashing. Ben Thompson and Aaron Andrada worked to make sure the job done as promised… I’m so appreciative of the great work! Their on site team was thorough and efficient and did a wonderful job! We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Metro Builders. Aaron Andrada and his crew did an excellent job putting on our new roof. Aaron was communicative throughout the process. He worked with our insurance to get them to cover the majority of the replacement cost and saved us A LOT of money. I would definitely recommend them and will work with them again if we need work done on our home.

I used these guys out of the Tampa office and became good friends with Jeff and Chris. Cant reccomend them enough, wealths of knowledge and solid dudes. Ask for Jeff and tell him Lincoln sent ya!

My experience with Metro Builders was great!!! I would not have a new roof today if it had not been for them working with my insurance company. The crew did a great job giving me a beautiful new roof and they left my yard cleaner than when they began! I was always able to get hold of the directors of operations that worked with me. They were very patient and knowledgeable and helped me through this whole process. They always answered my texts or calls in a prompt manner. And I know that I can get hold of them anytime in the future if I were to need anything. I will be recommending Metro Builders to anyone!

Excellent service from the initial call to the work completion. Bret Rainer and the entire team of adjusters and workers were punctual, knowledgeable and professional at all times. They worked with the insurance company and kept me informed though out the process. The workers worked in excessive heat to complete the job and cleanup in one day. The quality of the end product is awesome, I am very please and highly recommend them

Wesley Terry provided phenomenal and rapid service from the quote, dealing with insurance company, and replacing entire roof. He was extremely professional and the quality of work was outstanding. Interfacing with the insurance company was easy and the crew was incredibly respectful. They completed the entire roof ~4000 sq ft in one day. No roofing nails found in yard or drive after either. I would highly recommend them.

In 2015 I contracted with Brian Elder Roofing, found using our Angie's List account, to do a partial roof replacement. This was an area not affected by other parts of my roof. They came and tore off all the old shingles, put down a barrier, and replaced the shingles. In less than a year, my roof was leaking again. Over the next 4 years they have been slow to respond but have tried to repair by replacing shingles. I still have a leak. When I contacted Mr. Elder a couple of weeks ago after a heavy rain and more leaking, he was confrontational, rude and totally unprofessional. Told me he would come out one more time to try to fix the leak..if that didn't work, he would have to charge me for a total roof replacement. He told me the problem was my decking which apparently won't hold nails..I don't know, not a roofer, but if that's true, it should have been addressed when they tore the old shingles off and replaced them. I signed a contract with them with a 7 year warranty against leaks. Since our last conversation, I have heard nothing from him nor has anybody been by to see what can be done with my roof. I'm sure he has satisfied customers who swear by him and his company, but with my experience, I would say that's because there were no major problems with the job like with mine. I held off writing this review, but after my last conversation with Mr. Elder when he tried to bully me into accepting what he called facts, he deserves this review.

I left a negative review just over a year ago about the questionable business practices, and awful job done. Just to give an update.. i now have a section of shingles sliding down my roof... my guess is they were not nailed down... avoid this company.

Our roof was paid for by our insurance... all we owed was the deductible and the upgrade to Architectural shingles ($8,000 project and we paid $1,500). The crew was fantastic. Cleaned up after themselves very well. The 7 year “No Questions Asked” warranty was THE reason we went w Brian Elder. Highly recommended.
