I had 2 exterior doors that had rotted wood around the framing and the center supports and needed new thresholds. Oscar from King Contracting came out and gave me a detailed explanation of what would be done and sent a detailed estimate of repairs. The repairs were done to specification and the carpenter, Alberto did an exacting, excellent job. The site was cleaned up and project done on time. Oscar came back to inspect the next day and I told him how pleased I was with the work Alberto had done. I would definitely hire his company again for repairs at our home.

The primary job was to paint the exterior wood, including wooden windows, on this typical northern Virginal 2 story home with mostly vinyl siding. Excellent prep with power washing, making all 20+ wood windows operable, replacing lots of rotted wood including some custom window repair, one new major picture window, sagging garage door wood repair (precluded a replacement garage door), etc. Excellent results with high quality paint on all exterior including porch and shutters as planned, including wooden rails and slats on a largely TREX deck. This contractor specializes in wood solutions to home repair problems, as well as painting, from my experience. Has good, creative solutions to tough problems. Got a good estimate to start, but escalated a bit as the extent of rotten wood became apparent in the course of the work. I would certainly hire them again.

Oscar and his team did an excellent job for my home project. He gave me the cost for the project in advance. He communicated promptly when he was going to be late which I appreciated it. Make sure you ask him about the qualification off the worker.He presented the estimate in timely fashion, the only good think that i can say about him. I was shocked by some of the people who worked here, was not able to communicate. The plumbing was not done correctly, was not done by qualified plumber and now i have bathtub draining issue. He is very disrespectful to the homeowner.

Make sure contract is clear and you totally understand. Because of the cost related to materials and 'driving around', which they charged me later, because I cancelled the contract. This doesn't seem right or reasonable.

Reasonable and excellent work completed on time.

The work was good but the communication was lacking. I had a lot of surprise additions on my final bill that were never discussed with me and repeatedly had issues that should have been brought up in a timely manner such as a blown circuit in my house that happened around 09:30 and I called to ask about it at 6pm, even though I spoke with the contractor in person multiple times when I got home.

They did a good job and when they couldn't show once they called to let me know why and when they would be there. Very considerate and appreciated!

Oscar came by and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He was courteous professional and straightforward with what needed to be done. I would definitely recommend them
