JK General Contractor, LLC

I did a lot of research prior to hiring JK General. I obtained quotes from 8 different companies before decided on JK General. They were not the cheapest option, but I was convinced that the job would go smoothly and any issues would be swiftly tackled - and I was right. Having used Home Advisor to suggest contractors, I asked for a quote from JK General and was quickly contacted by Chris Gonzalez Cingolani. Chris was flexible in arranging an appointment and was on time. Unlike other companies I felt that Chris was not in a rush to do measurements, give the quote and move on; instead, Chris answered my questions, took time to understand the concept of my project and made it clear he wanted me to be happy with whatever I chose. He did not use any pressure tactics. He left an initial rough quote so I knew the ballpark we were talking about. A few days later Chris sent through a professionally prepared sketch of the patio design I had described to check he had the right concept along with a detailed quote, clearly delineating the cost of each feature. I was still obtaining quotes from other companies, but Chris sent through a revised sketch when he understood the concept better. It was clear to me that if I went with him he would ensure I got the product I wanted. He sent a team of guys within days of me signing the contract and the project was completed on time and to a high quality. The few issues we had during the work were quickly addressed by the contractors themselves or by Chris, who regularly came by to supervise the progress. The team were courteous, listened to my requests and adapted as they went. Two weeks after the project was completed, Chris came by to check if everything remained up to standard. I pointed out a couple of minor adjustments and he immediately agreed to fix them. I have no doubt that during the next two years, if I have any issues with this patio, Chris will ensure they are addressed immediately. If I do any more work to the house JK General will be top of my list to contact.

JK worked with me and were very easy to deal with. They did a great job and I would most certainly recommend them for installation of stone walkways.

JK Contractors did a great job on our patio. We had a badly cracked and sunken patio that desperately needed replacement. With talking to Chris and going over a few ideas of how to lay out the patio and how much patio we wanted he cam e up with a great plan and look for the pavers. The workers worked tirelessly jack hammering up our old slab on very hot and a couple rainy days with a ton of dust in the air, but they didn't stop. We are now so happy with our new paver patio and our neighbors are all envious of it. We now love to be in our back yard having dinner or just drinks. Can't wait for the winter when we can sit around our fire pit and drink our warm cocktails on the new patio. I have already referred JK to other neighbors that need a patio or just concrete work.

JK General installed a patio with a stone sitting wall in my backyard. They did a fabulous job! Their work and our overall experience with JK exceeded our expectations. Chris, the project manager, would check on the job daily and made sure all of our questions were answered. The job was completed in a very timely manner with great quality. Chris, Tucker, and their crew were very professional, honest and friendly. We would highly recommend JK General. JK was great with the design recommendations and communicating the changes that came up during the process. Very timely with the work. They did everything they said they were going to do.

They did two walkways and a set of steps in my back yard. The base was concrete with pavers. They were careful and the finished work on the pathways matched my expectations. The steps exceeded expectation. They worked even in the hottest days I would hire them again.
