My job was not a huge project, but even small projects can get messed up! John Puhara took care of it in record time and kept in touch while he worked on it. The estimate was prompt, so was the service. I got a follow-up callback to check I was satisfied. These are the kinds of features that make people and a company stand out and go back to for work in the future.

Frankie Navarro of Handyman Connection did the work. He did not demand any money until the job was completed. He seemed to be competent and to know what he was doing. Before installing the new tile, he thoroughly cleaned the old tile so that the new tile would stick. When we had a problem moving out the refrigerator, he was able to work around the problem. When he observed that some of the self adhesive tiles were not sticking, he went out and purchased glue so that they would stick well. I think he did a good job.

Jason, the man I spoke with first, was very helpful and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that the Craftsman that called me in the morning about my job was not the same Craftsman that showed up in the afternoon. I was initially very distressed by this, but I ended up hiring Frank (the Craftsman who showed up) because his quote was reasonable and he seemed to know what needed to be done. Frank did a great job - I would definitely use him again.

Sara Kash is the owner/manager. She kept calling before she got the project for my rental property. Once I asked her to give me a quote after handyman checks out the problem. I specifically instructed her to call me back with the pricing and action plan. She did not give me a call to explain or tell me the price. She asked the handyman(Adam) to go ahead that I learned retrospectively. Then she sent me a bill. I did not give her authorization to fix it. All I asked her to do was to bid. Very upset. I do not appreciate the business that conduct with lack of honesty and lack of communication.
Dear Thida, we apologize for the inconvenience and the miscommunication. Sara is not the owner, she is the manager. As we spoke to her, she thought the job was so small ($80) that you would just agree to us taking care of the problem for you. Sara did try to get a hold of you but was unable to do so so she just went ahead and had our craftsman do the job for you. Again, we apologize for the miscommunication and inconvenience this may have caused, but it seems like you were happy with the work done in the end.
This company has very good customer service, which veils the fact that they over charge for labor (in my estimation). We had a small repair job done and the person doing the work took a big shortcut and still charged the same as estimated for a more involved repair. His wife sat in his truck as he worked (not professional in my opinion) and they left garbage on the street outside (food, wrappers, etc). The work done was fair enough for a repair and I'd consider hiring the company again if their rates were less inflated.
