Mr. Paul showed up exactly on time, provided an inspection and assessment of my home project, was professional and knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. He provided outstanding customer service, and I would highly recommend him. Excellent! M. Wolfe Oakland, CA .

Was ok, he did not seem to get all the way underneath our house to check structure. He said he could tell from what he saw just by opening the crawl space.

They came in and clearly gave me an evolution of my situation. They advised I would be okay, and if I wanted I could do the minor self repair myself to the foundation and what materials to use. I am going to hire them to knock down a load bearing wall. Those guys are awesome.

Hired this company to inspect retrofit work and verify that our house was in compliance with the earthquake standards required by our earthquake insurance in order to receive a discount. We passed the inspection and all was well. I believe that you should pay for the expertise and education behind it and did not feel that we were overcharged. I was a little irritated however that Mr. Paul approached me with a defensive attitude about what he did and what he charged that turned my asking any questions about his services into an argumentative dialogue. I can imagine that his stance comes from a number of unpleasant encounters over the years with people who don't realize that the expertise and the license he brings to his work is what you are paying for, not just the time he has to spend on your project, but he needs to develop an elevator talk for the uninitiated that doesn't end up making his client feel guilty for asking about how he charges.

Hired Mr.Paul for a Structural Engineer report under a very tight deadline and he went above and beyond to accommodate my clients time frame needs for a real estate transaction. It was a pleasure working with him and I will definitely call him in the future for my clients that are in need of his services.
